Golfer Reviews
great course
Great course
green a little rough but it is earlier in the season
very nice course overall
Awful greens
Was not told when booking that they had just punched the greens. They were unplayable! Was told when checking in that they were punched earlier in the month but we're in good shape shape healing nicely. When I brought it up after the round, I hit a shrug and "well we have to do it sometime". I called later that day just to see if they would bring it up when booking and was told that they were rolling great!
Found out why price was so low
A heads up that the greens had just been punched and sanded would have been nice and that a par 4 was changed to a par 3 with a temp green. Knowing that I probably would have played somewhere else. Besides 1/2 the greens being unputtable the course was awesome every where else and the food in the restaurant was perfect. Greens should be better in a week or so.
Great Views
I was looking for an inexspensive round to play on a saturday and lucked upon this one. When I got there I found out that the greens had been aerated a week or so before. They were not in bad shape but made putting more challenging than it already is. Oh well thats life so I sucked it up and played th ebest I could. Great views and good company with the people I got paired up with. No complaints and played very well with some help from one of my partners. I will certainly play again. Whatever you do tee off from the tip on 18 amazing view!!
Great course, high price
This is a very nice, pristeen golf course. The greens are tough, but in great shape and fair.I don't know that the normal $145 Golf Now price is worth it when you have great course such as Red Hawk down the road for $82, and many really good ones much less than that.
always enjoy playing this course
this is a good track, have always enjoyed it, played 10 + times. good challenge and is always in good condition. people are always friendly. food not so good in club house so i recommend taking a sandwich, no food on cart either.
A terrific, a fun course
Our foursome had a really great time here.
The course is in fantastic condition. We are a group of high handicappers, and found the course challenging without being punishing. There's some nice views of the mountains, and the back nine finished out with a few spectacular views and some unique challenges. There's not a lot of water in play, but significant sand of a few holes.
Some wildlife was seen including a Golden Eagle, and several other creatures.
The only down side was the weather, which was uncharacteristically cold and damp. The result was that damp conditions required us to keep the carts on the cart path which slowed the game.
All in all one of the most enjoyable rounds I've played in a while.
Great layout; great conditions
If you have not played here; make it a point to do so. Great layout, very scenic, great conditions. Get a deal on GolfNow and enjoy
private course feel- but public play
I love playing perfectly designed and beautifully maintained courses without having to be member of an overly priced club. The discount rate was half off regular green fees, so that made it even sweeter! I have played here four times now and I will do so again, and, again, and again.
Nice course
Starter never came to get me as I was told he would in the clubhouse. I had to catch my group in the middle of the fairway on #2. Not a great way to start a round of golf, but once out there it was a pleasant round of golf. Golf course was in good shape, greens were not nearly as fast as the practice green. Practice range could use some new balls. Some really beautiful holes with big pines and rock outcroppings. A couple of lay up par 4's and some long par 3's.
Awesome Premier Public Golf Course
Greens were fast but fun. Nice view and the course was in great condition. If only the price was a bit lower.
over rated course
the sand traps are the worse I have ever seen in 52 years. Gravel over dirt.
Range balls are too hard.
Impressive!
The Ridge at Castle Pines was pricey but worth it. It was, by a wide margin, in the best shape of any of the 20 - 25 courses I have played over the past two years.
Great course
First time playing this course. Fantastic. Great conditions even though they had 3 inches of rain the previous day. Very challenging. Pick the right tee boxes. Very tight. If you get off the fairway, you will lose plenty of balls. Pricey, but would highly recommend this course.
Foothills Delight
Lots of elevation changes. Beautiful views. Greens were hard and fast also tough to read. Pace of play was good - 4 hours - 15 minutes. Friendly staff. Course was in very good condition. Would recommend to a friend.
Amazing!!!!
Course was in beautifull shape. Greens rolled true but extremely slippery and challenging .
Best Customer service that's not a resort EVER
I was incredibly impressed with the staff inside the club and out on the course. Short of a resort, the best customer service ever. When was the last time a cart came by and asked (by our names mind you) how we were enjoying ourselves and offered to replenish the ice and ice waters? I've played all over the world, dozens of times a year and I can say NEVER! Was very impressed. The staff was very helpful, was fully engaged on us exclusively as if we owned the place. I mean everywhere. The clubhouse, the restaurant/bar, the turn concessions; and out of the course.
We will be back!
