The Ridge at Castle Pines (Colorado) (formerly know as The Ridge Golf Course at Castle Pines North) is an 18-hole, public course is located in Castle Rock, south of Denver. The course offers 7.103 yards of golf and plays to a par of 71. The fairways are generous and the rolling greens are expansive. The golf course is also well-bunkered with water hazards coming into play on some holes. Beautiful views of Pike's Peak and Devil's Head can be observed by golfers at certain holes. There are also lovely Gambel Oaks and Ponderosa Pines scattered throughout the landscape. Although there is no signature hole, the The Ridge at Castle Pines (Colorado) offers a variety of unique holes that require deft short game skills and good tee shots.

Awesome Experience for a Small Group
We had a bachelor party of 12 golfers out to play at the Ridge, we set up everything ahead of time with the course and they made the process very easy, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming across the board for us, the course was in awesome shape and a really fun layout. Would absolutely recommend for anyone doing a golf trip to the Denver area
Sand traps were cement. Back nine was beautiful, Couse was in OK shape but not if I paid 185

Good conditions - Pace of play great
The sand traps need some love, they are muddy and not playable in some spots, need a few more loads of sand in the traps. Otherwise great course.
Great Location, layout, amenities, but tees and traps fair at best
We had an early tee time for our second round at The Ridge. Pace of play started slow, especially around holes 5 & 6, but picked up after. Greens and fairways in great shape and the course design is spectacular. As mentioned, tees and sand traps don't match up to the conditions of the rest of the course and amenities. We stayed for food after the round and it exceeded expectations. Clubhouse and on-course services excellent.
Don’t care for cart path only
Being 64 yrs old with a double lung transplant last year, we found the cart path only holes ridiculous. Also, many of the holes had steep inclines and declines to the greens. In addition, where you had to park the cart was a long walk to the green. You’ll probably scoff at these comments but they are real and probably apply to more older golfers than me.

Love the course layout, natural beauty, location, and tee time availability. Just wish that it were like 30-40$ cheaper…
Rained out
Cart path only coupled with heavy rain made it to where we got through 7 holes in about 2.25 hours. Grabbed a rain check in the pro shop. I will be back, love this place
Glad I played
The staff friendliness is the best I've encountered in 20 years of playing. AlL of the staff was very friendly and very natural about it .I would play there just because you feel so welcomed. Luved the layout. We got rained out the last 2 holes but didn't mind since the price was so great.
Should have known about aeration
Course was great but didn’t know greens were recently aerated, don’t know that it would have changed our minds but always nice to know. Rest of course was in fantastic shape, staff was friendly, views are excellent.
Lunch was decent but don’t like that I have to order at the bar when they could easily come to the table and take our orders.
On course beverage service was fantastic, great selection and server.
