Can find better deals for the cost.
Play was horribly slow. No Marshall’s out to move play along. They also had it cart path only which made no sense because it wasn’t wet out, nor was there any reason to be cart out only.
Course was in good shape, but aside from that it was the only positive for the round. Only got through 14 holes before I had to go back because I ran out of daylight.
Cart Path “Only”
Don’t understand why this course goes to “cart path only” in the Fall, when it definitely hampers pace of play. Rather slow round today, could be better. Other then that the course was in great shape.
Course in good shape
We had a good round on the course. I noticed some of the yardages on the scorecard were different than the tee boxes— I was playing from the Jade tees. The greens were tough, and the course was in good shape overall. I know it’s common, but I wish we could have taken the cart to the car to drop off our clubs.
This is a very enjoyable course to play. It does run alongside housing but didn't have the feeling of being crowded. First time around distance is difficult to judge because of extreme elevation changes. Greens were simply perfect when we played and the views on many holes, particularly the back nine, were worth the entry fee by themselves. I hope to play again.
11.2 stemp meter greens
So much fun. The course was on great shape. The greens were fast and fai. We had a great time.
Gorgeous Course
Beautiful course, great conditions. Not for beginners. Views are spectacular, staff was friendly.
Wonderful layout
Excellent golf experience. Course was in great shape tees to green. . Excellent golf Marshall. Tough and challenging layout. Back nine especially tough and great views.
Good course, fun day, bumpy greens
Playing here always feels like a treat. The staff are very nice. The COVID-19 restrictions limit you to using the range only 15 minutes prior to tee off, durn. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in quite good shape. The weather was nice but breezy. The course is always engaging. The bunkers were in pretty good shape. Oddly, the greens seemed suboptimal, perhaps the winter was hard? If you fret about your score, you may find the course devilish right now, mostly taketh. Still, the greens were receptive and even held my wife's hybrid approach on #13 for her tap-in birdie, sweet! A go-to non-driver tee shot would have been handy. This course lets you leave life's burdens behind...at least for 4 1/2 hours. It's always enjoyable at The Ridge!
Bad Front, nice back
the front nine on this course is so weird it almost makes you not want to play the back which is nice 9 holes. Not worth the money and i belong to a very nice club and play to a 5.
they should have warned us about the condition of the greens
lovely, dramatic course, elevated tees, to die for vistas, but the greens had been aerated and unplayable. approach shots wouldn’t hold on the rock hard surfaces and putts were knocked off line skipping on the rough sand top coating. it just ruined the round for me, as well as my score. it’s no deal or joy to play there in that condition, it’d be magnificent in top condition. very disappointed,
