Sandpines #16
Signature hole #16. Your tee shot must be left center to avoid the Scottish style bunkers on the right. The green is surrounded by hazards. Water, deep bunkers, and rough are waiting. The massive coastal sand dunes can be seen in the distance.

great

Never disappoints! Can rain all day and the wind will be blowing 25mph! Can be 62 degrees and wind blowing 30-40 mph and blowing sand off of dunes. Can be 82 degrees and blowing 7 mph. This is REAL golf on the Oregon coast. Last we played, it was 49 degrees and blowing 20mph. We were the only group who finished. It was fun! We travel 170 miles one way 5 times a year. For the last 5 years. This is the real deal. My 2 best rounds ever back to back were here, 75-72. I'm a 7 hdcp. Staff is ALWAYS friendyly. Heading back again next week.

customer service

Course is always in good shape when we arived at the desk we were treated like cheap skates for buying on line we had an 11;40 tee time we arived about an hour early we were told we could come back about 15 minutes before our tee time to get our key. we pushed and got the key than we than asked if there was an oppurtunity to play early we would go early again it was like you cheap sob will wait. I did not put that price on line if you dont like it take it off, I have played there many times and paid a higher price would have paid more yesterday, that was an incredible value, but your customer service made it a bad deal.

A windy day

The course played well despite areas of standing water and the strong winds. Fortunately, no one ended up in some of the bunkers which were filled to the top with water. The fairways played pretty fast for winter conditions and the greens were a bit bumpy but still very playable. We will definitely return!!

Very nice course to play.

The course was great and price was excellent that was on Goldnow. It was misting off and on for most of the round until the final 5 holes then turned to rain, but still played in the conditions.

Great course

This course was in great shape and very challenging but fair especially since it was extremely foggy the day we played. There may have been more great features that we couldn't see thru the fog. Definitely recommend playing this course

Great winter play!

Sanpines in the winter is very, very good. 8+ inches of rain one week earlier, and the course was in excellent shape today --no sign it had even rained. (Compare that to ANY course in the Willamette Valley.)

The course is challenging and fun to play.

The staff at Sandpines was friendly and helpful. The tee to green was very well maintained. The greens putted moderately fast and true. We were warned that the greens don't break as much one would read.......good advice. Both of our foursomes had planned to go to a different course during our stay in Florence, but all eight players enjoyed the course so much that we re-booked Sandpines for another day. It's a real value and a lot of fun to play for players of all handicaps.
