Positives:
The course layout is nice. Pretty flat and open all around. The staff is very friendly. They have a full bar if you want to have a drink afterwards if that’s your thing. The price is good. Normally around $40 during peak hours and $20ish for twilight. The greens rolled well.
Negatives:
The tee boxes are so so for 75% of holes. The sand traps weren’t raked and weeds growing in them. (I know.. don’t hit in the trap and you won’t have to worry about it.) No one fixes their divots which stinks. the grass just off the fairway and around the greens weren’t mowed. Too thick to find my ball on bad misses.
Conclusion:
The course is priced right. It’s great for beginners and friends that want to have a great time without spending too much or feeling overwhelmed by a country club feeling. The staff is always top tier! It’s not perfect but it is fun and easy to play.
Pretty sweet course
Pretty nice little course. Came from the valley to get out of the heat. Course was pretty well maintained. Saw some squirrels and rabbits. Nice place to be
Very poor condition
Thought I’d give the course another try, had been two yrs, since playing and I was very disappointed. Greens had dirt patches most holes, some partially repaired in sections but not fully. Fairways I can say were “Fair,” several bunkers I would describe as “don’t look like bunkers,” but did have a rake in them. Guess you could use it to rake your ball out of the water. They did have heavy rains but when you have just as much grass as sand, with added water, not a good look.
Quirky with character
Apparently this course has been poorly maintained in the past. It’s not good yet but getting better, someone cares. The greens were actually pretty decent, smooth and rolled well. Lots of trees here and they have roots that run far and like to be at the surface. The fairways were ok, the tees less so. First time golfing here and my GPS led me astray a few blocks before finding my way in with help from the neighbors. There is nothing fancy here but it does have some charm and I enjoyed my round. All others that I talked to on course were having fun and were happy about the improvements. The layout is different, two golfers called it a maze and I often wondered where I missed the turn between holes. Cart paths are pretty iffy, could just as well have been a maintenance track. The bar/restaurant that is attached to the pro shop was busy. You know what, I’m looking forward to going back.
Tbox greens and driving range
Those three things would make a world of difference on the course. A range with distances laid out. Green and box with less divots and dead grass. Still a fun good course overall.
I will put QW back in my mix.
I hadn't played here in about 3 years when the course was in terrible shape. I was surprised that is in very good condition. Most fairways were filled in although some were spotty. Tree lined with lots of shade. Greens were in good shape and approaches filled in. Although less than 6000 from the tips it is challenging. Finding the right tee boxes can be challenging to newbies. Driving range is pretty basic just for warm up. Their grill has good eats.
Nice Reconstruction the course
Thanks to the owners that's making it a better beautiful course
Value for the money.
Good course for beginners like me. You get what you pay for here. 40 bucks is a little steep for this course, I got a deal for 25 each person and that was well spent for the time we enjoyed. Management was very laid back. Pace of play slowed down a little on the back nine. Course conditions also deteriorate on the back nine, with certain holes having some pretty poor green conditions.
Better
It’s definitely in better condition the. Winter golf however they definitely need to work on the greens
Course needs alot of TLC
This course definitely needs alot of work. The greens are very bumpy.
