Fun time
They have made many improvements to this course. It is in good shape. Will definitely be playing here again. And the restaurant is excellent!
A value for the money
This is a challenging course for a par 68. It is 18 holes but a difficult layout at times. I would have got list if I was by myself. Good thing there was some friendly folks in front of us. I will play it again to get to know the course.
Not a course for handicap golfer
The course was interesting but very muddy after the heavy rain. The course is chalenging for a handicap golfer. Lots of hills to walk up, most greens are elevated and cnnot park close.
Quailwood Greens
Nice little course. Greens in decent shape, rough not too bad. Overall course in rough shape. Bumpy cart paths and poor signage from hole to hole.
Getting better
I can tell you that this course is getting better and better each year. They have greatly improved the greens, I would give them a 7 out of 10. There are still no real sand traps, just dirt and weeds. they could leave the fairways alone, just make sure you stay in them. They desperately need to fix their tees, they are uneven and all in bad shape. I found myself teeing up outside of the box just to get a level area with grass. For the price this is a good place to have a fun round and feel good when you leave, I am a 15 handicap and shot 78 & 80 the last 2 rounds. so yeah feel good when you leave.
Better Options
Pace of play was terrible! Tee boxes are dirt and weeds and not level. Greens better condition than last year but not best shape. Driving range is dirt and weeds, no grass.
First Try
A good friend and I booked a teatime and we’re able to get an easy link quickly; he called it a Wild West start. The course was in decent condition. It was a windy day and we had a good time. The couple things I would recommend is that the tea boxes need a little work; a bit uneven and hard to tee up. Secondly, additional signage needed on the cart course for direction to T boxes.
Quail
This corse is good for a 55+ community, needs more attention with off fairways grounds, and greens need to be improved.
The course is decent for what it costs. It has improved since last year, as the greens were almost unplayable then. There were only a couple of spots on 3 or 4 greens that were terrible. All in all, it's a good price for a feel-good course. I'm a 15 handicap and shot a 78 (which I haven't been under 80 in years), so I felt good when I left.
Nice course
Nice course. Conditions are decent. People generally friendly. I like playing there.
