cold, tough day
Less than ideal weather conditions. Actually had snow flurries that delayed our 8:00 tee time. A very difficult "placemant" course. Had landing areas on many holes with very little margin for error. If you sprayed, you paid. Cart paths were desert sand. At the right price, I would recommend to a friend but many other courses I would recommend before this one.
Thank you for playing with us despite the less than ideal weather. The course takes a couple trips around to get acquainted and usually it is more friendly at that point. Many good rounds have been ruined with one bad swing.
Price is always a double-edged sword. We try to keep it reasonable for the area but we have also found that a lower price does not guarantee us more players, just less revenue from the ones that are playing. Seems like a no win!

Save your money for Wickenburg Ranch
Greens were inconsistent and poorly maintained. Playing from the back tees (only 6300) leaves you with obstacles you have to hit around off the tee (large trees and bushes) and over 50% of the holes were nearly blind shots to fairways,
It is quite common for players that have never played this course before to think that 6300 yards is short and should be easy to score on. If you play the course from locations where it is designed to be played from (the fairway) it will play more like 7000 yards and you will most likely need to hit something other than driver off the tee to put you in that location. This is not a course you can "attack".
Our greens are not in the condition we normally like them to be in, but they are not poorly maintained and they are getting closer to where they need to be every day. As far as blind shots, there are 4 holes where the ideal landing area is not visible from the tee. There is one tee that presents challenges to those that draw or hook the ball.
We respect your opinion, comments, and rating on the golf course, but they are very typical of someone that had a rough time on the course they thought would be easy.
Tough course
Target golf course..tight landing zones..each shot must be in the right position from tee to green..check the layout before playing..don't use your driver on short holes..
This review is pretty much spot on! If you are looking for a golf course where you can swing away with a driver and find it, this may not be your best choice.
We would like to see more than 3 stars and hopefully we will get them on your next visit.

Course is in terrible condition. I won't play it again
Thank you for giving our course a shot. The layout is not everyone's favorite, especially those that like to swing away. There is a variety of opinions regarding the condition of the course. I guess it depends on where you normally play. It seems that most people feel the conditions are quite satisfactory, at least according to the recent reviews. We hope that the friendly staff and normally fast pace of play are enough that you might give us another shot in the peak season when the golf course is normally in very good condition and not showing the occasional rough spots from overseed.

every thing is exc. for sand and greens are starting to grow after 2 weeks from overseeding it is starting to look good

Greens just coming back from overseeding, but they were rough and we were still laying $72 for the round. Seems like one or the other should be better. Interesting layout.

Pricing is always hard, especially when it comes to how people spend their entertainment dollars. We still feel that when compared to other courses in the area, we are a good value. Our greens and course conditions will improve and at that point, we hope our customers feel the price is a very good value. We hope you give us another try this winter season and find that out for yourself!

Admittedly our golf course is not in it's normal very good condition. But, we did just come out of over seed. By the 1st of November we hope to be in much better condition. Our rates do reflect the shoulder season time and are very reasonable when compared to other courses in the area.
