Tanna Farms Golf Club in Geneva offers some of the best golf that the Fox Valley has to offer. The layout meanders across prairies covered with wildflowers and weaves through lush wetlands. The course begins with the stunning signature hole. The par-3 opener has an island green that sets the scene for this thrilling and memorable round. Although it's a seemingly short course at 6,510 yards from the back tees, what it lacks in length it makes up for with plenty of other challenges. Besides the first hole, there are a few other tough par 3s, including one with a postage-stamp sized green. There are some daunting par 5s as well. Tanna Farms Golf Club is not a lengthy course but the layout is generously spaced to offer breathing room between the holes and the undulating slopes and subtle elevation changes make it pay much longer.

Filling in sand traps.
A few holes have their old sand traps filled in with large clumps of dirt from the nearby swampy areas. I get it, they never held much sand anyway. Hopefully they’ll continue to work on them and integrate new features, until then 🤷♂️
Hard time
They didn’t know about tee off and wanted to charge me.
They gave me a hard time about it.
The new management is atrocious!
This used to be a really good course UNTIL Golf Visions took over as management. The tee boxes are in extremely bad condition. Fairways are aplenty with deep divots left over from last years. Ball marks on the greens are still there from last season. The cart paths are full of bumps and pot holes. No, i won't recommend this course to a friend. I recommend the owner to fire Golf Visions and go back to really managing the golf course...please!

I have not been to this course in a while I enjoyed it The best part was I putted so much better The greens were great Finally a course that has watered there greens and I noticed they already had eradiated there greens Most courses have not around the area The only thing that I noticed in some of the fair ways had hail bail in them what’s the purpose It looks like there is course waist in them Maybe future sand Traps I will be back when it gets a little warmer The person I n the clubhouse when I got done was very welcoming was able to converse how much I enjoyed the course The morning guy when I checked in was not inviting needs to work on that a bit

Starting with island par 3 at 1 going into long par 5 at 2 was a great start! Challenging, long holes will have you using every club.
Horrible
I’ve never played a course as badly maintained as I did yesterday. Who fills fairway bunkers with plugs from aerating? Saw cart girl twice all round and on the worst holes possible. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS COURSE!!
Course conditions not too good
Course was clearly under fall repair and pretty rough. Tee boxes were chopped up as were some fairways. Had problems with finding some holes as layout is kind of funny and lots of distance between holes in some cases. No GPS on carts. My personal GPS had major distance discrepancies in some places. No restaurant/bar etc. to het anything (machines only).
Challenging 18 but map on card is less than helpful as to where to land ball on fairway..
