The Ike Course
The pace of play was great, the carts had GPS showing who was ahead of you and by how much yardage. I pick # 2, 10, 14 and 18 as Ike's signature holes. The white tees at 139 slope was getting tougher as the sun baked the greens from 12 noon to 4 pm. if you have guest players visiting...you ought to try this course. From practice putting greens, range, restaurant with patio sitting, pleasant starters and a smiling cart girl. As General Ike would say ..." carry on lad...you made my day"
Should be soooo much better
Great course (played Ike) same with Babe, but these folks need to invest in the course and close down for a while.
Bald fairways, clumpy grass, bald tee boxes... urgh
Never Playing Ever
They don’t do enough to enforce faster pace of play and the course conditions are very bad. I feel overall what I paid to play where is not worth it due to the very slow play and very poor course conditions.
Punched greens
Great course but greens were recently punched and are still too bumpy. Especially for money games. Greens will be bumpy and have holes (sanded but still visible punch holes) for at least another two weeks.
Great Course, Good People
The people, facilities, and golf are excellent. Make smart club choices, hit fairways, putt well, and stay patient and a good score is within reach. If you’re not hitting em straight make sure you start your round with a bag full of balls. If needed, you can get a few sleeves of your favorite ball in the pro shop at the turn.. Either way, golfing Industry Hills is an enjoyable experience.
The Ike show signs of low to no maintenance
The price to play the Ike is still reasonable in comparison to similar courses in Socal. However the course has dramatically taken a downturn from let say 5-6 years ago. Considering the time of year some things are expected but brown patchy fairways, ball mark ridden greens and bare tee boxes...not to mention cartpaths need serious resurfacing. Although the course layout is spectacular, it's becoming a average course sad to say. Hope management will get their act together and get the two courses back to premium status...
Industry Hills needs help
The course layout is good but needs some grounds work and marshaling.
Understand it is winter but when you have bunkers that are hard packed bottoms this is a clear sign the grounds team is not fluffing the sand after rains/watering. No one can hit out of concrete gardens bunker. Other areas in the course needed “under repair” markings.
We had a 1250 tee time with a 5:45 sunset…plenty of time on a 4:20 course. Ended on the 16th hole due to major gaps Routine Marshall support fixes this I won’t play this course again until I hear these issues are resolved.
Beautiful view and great layout of course
The place has very good view of mountain. The condition of course is good and like the layout of course.
Friendly staff.
Golf carts and pace of play
Golf carts in bad shape. Two consecutive groups ahead of us had there golf cart batteries die out. One replacement showed up and that one died. Our golf court barely made it back with the light blinking the last 4 holes. All the while the cart was not stable driving.
A beautiful course but not well kept.
dry
Its very easy to get hit with a ball on this Course. A player got hit with a shanked Ball, hit him on the Knee.
Fairways are dry, Putting Greens have a lot of divots
Carts don't understand golf
From the bartender, Tanya, to the field staff, Industry hills has outstanding service. The couse is challenging, fun, and has gorgeous views. But, if you slice or shank the ball, be ready to walk. For the most part, the carts will not zip you over to get you to your ball. Warns you not to go off path and if you do, it will run at a snails pace, slowing down the game for you and those behind you.
That is the only draw back to this course.
Always a
Always a great layout, if not in the right spot you can make bogey or more
