The Majors Golf Club at Bayside Lakes

I like the course a lot, it's challenging and well maintained. This is the 3rd time I've played as a single, other times I've been paired up with twosomes. I will never go by myself again. Very few people will let you play through, long waits. I played 6 holes and left.

Great round, even at 90 degrees. The ranger was by twice, to check on the pace of play and kept things moving well. This is a great improvement from my peior experiences! Just that will bring me back. My hat is off to the management!

1:07pm tee time w/ wife for $21.40/ea using 2 $10 Golfnow rewards. Tough, challenging, & fun course. Houses on some of the holes, but no where near play. Tee boxes, fairways, & greens plush. Slightly elevated greens rolling true & fast. Battery powered carts w/ windshield & rain cover in back. Worth the 1.75 hour drive. Will play again.

I booked as a single but was added to a threesome. I don't mind being added to fill a group but this group was extremely slow. Plus the starter told me I had to leave my cart. The range person warned our group several times to pick up the pace but did nothing to enforce the warnings. We were at least 2 holes behind the group in front of us. The 18 took us 5-1/2 hours! If I was allowed to keep my cart I could have left the group and played at a normal pace

Pace of play was a little slow but greens were terrific. Fast greens, speed 10 to 11 on meter. Nice track, worth the experience

The course has had its share of problems with the greens but it is now in excellent condition

Was told by the pro shop that Sunday afternoon at 1:30 would be wide open yet very crowded and very slow. I was a 2-some behind a 3-some yet waited on every shot. There was group of 6 in one group that stayed right on us with the slow play, that's bad!

The course itself was horrible. No good grass to hit from on almost every shot. This is Florida, I think of lush courses when I think of Florida golf! I don't think I had one divot all day and forget good shotmaking around the greens, you're hitting off hardpan everywhere!

Staff was nice but I didn't pay for that, I wanted good golf.

Only one bathroom on entire course.

I would of given this course zero stars except the staff was nice and the greens were in nice shape. The pros stop there. Now the cons. Of the 18 holes that we played only one green had green grass around it. The other 17 greens had nothing but dead grass and weeds around them. The only thing green was the dollar weed. When I say "around the greens", I mean the area 10 to 15 yards around the green where you would land if you missed the green. Very hard to chip a ball that is sitting on nearly bare ground with dead grass and weeds. Also the rough along all of the fairways were nothing but dead grass and weeds. The fairways were in only fair shape with mostly very tight lies due to dried out thin grass. I would suggest that you save your money and find another place to play. My buddy and I will not be back. We were both glad we did not pay full price for our round.

I read reviews on this course an they weren't that good but being a Arnold palmer course I had to play. The reviews were all wrong one of the best courses I have played, Greens were fast an true fairways were nice. course was in great condition and the people were all very nice I would recommend this course to all my friends. Thank you Arnold for all the memories

The only good thing I can say is that the greens were in good shape. The fairways were almost bare ground with no grass. The bunkers are dirt/gravel. Will not play there again.

Hadn't played the Majors in several years due to reports of its declining course maintenance. Was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the greens (fast and true). Layout remains one of the area's best.

Last year at that s time stated to be very smooth. We were told they were redone. Last fall and up til now the greens were fine. Now it looks like the greens are going back to where they were are. We were told they want it that way. Before I go again, and check the greens. Otherwise I will use a different course.

I'll always get some rounds in at the Majors. Everything about this place works for me.

First time playing the course and luckily we were only a threesome who hooked up with a regular player. A very challenging course but very enjoyable. The fairways were a bit dry but playable. The green were very fast and challenging. Will definitely play again. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Course in good shape and getting better every day! Always enjoy the layout and the change that every hole presents. Be mindful of club selection and placement of shots.

I played the majors with my son last February and was extremely disappointed with the poor condition of the course. It is a very nice layout and was in terrible shape. I played it again today on a tip from a local and was very impressed with the changes that were made. The greens are good to excellent as are the T boxes. Fairways for the most part are good. The bunkers need a little work but overall I enjoyed my round today. Played in a twosome and we finished in under 4 hrs. Great bang for the buck!

i used to play here alot but haven't played here in close to two years becasue the course just went way downhill. i am pleasantly surprised to see the course in great shape. will start to play here more often. BEWARE we encountered a large rattlesnake crossing the cart path on 15/16. just be careful looking for lost balls.
