The Majors Golf Club at Bayside Lakes

This course had good greens, the rest was s little tough but better than most. The value was high and course was not busy at 3PM.

At 6900 yards it played shorter than listed. Overall should be fun for most.

The Majors offers some challenging holes and a GolfNow great price made the first experience a good one. However, the tee boxes were not well maintained, the fairways thin in spots and the fairway and green side sand traps could use a new layer of high grade sand. The greens were good and the ball rolled consistently through out the round.

The back nine had a few picturesque holes that required a good iron shot to the green, specifically number 15 par 3. The first couple of holes on the back makes you think that the back is not going to be very nice, bumpy and sandy cart paths, but it gets better on 14 through 18.

I would not play again unless I get a great GolfNow deal. Too many other options that present a better choice for a round of golf.

The staff was Top Notch and very friendly!

Booked play and was not informed that they had sanded the greens. For most of the round we also had to wait while the greens staff was putting more sand on the greens while we waited in the fairway. I understand green maintenance in summer is a fact of life in Florida, but they should have let us know how pitiful the greens were before we paid. They also should have discounted the fee. Even if you look beyond the greens, every aspect of this course needs attention. I will not be back any time soon.

Layout is very good,greens very slow for being new,a lot of weeds growing everywhere,other than that it's ok

When I arrived, they had no record of my tee time. Lucky i had my confermation. They did get me out but it was an hour after my scheduled time. This is not the first time this has happened. Talked to the pro shop and they didn't seem to really care.

The new greens are done and great condition. The fairways are in great condition as well. The bunkers and rough areas can use some work, but overall greatly improved! Hope it can get back to how it was years ago.

Not sure if a $20 special and 6 minutes between tee times will be good for the course or pace of play, but that's up to them.

So, they had temp greens, and it was a ghost town. Very hot day. Me and my wife had a GREAT time. It was us and two other groups on the course. Although they were temp greens, used the $8.00 fee( including cart) to practice all other aspects of my game. Once near the green, I would try to chip directly into the hole to gauge my chip landing accuracy. They also punched 8 inch cup holes, which made it really fun for my wife to putt.. There were crews out working on the course, and we always let them continue working while we set up to hit/ putt, although they would stop at a standoff first. I understand they have a lot to do and I never let noises like that bother me .. Great time, and when it's not under repair, this course is one of the better courses in brevard county..

This review reflects the current situation at the Majors, which is a course under repair. New greens are being installed however the overall condition of the course was sub-standard. For example only half of the fairways were mowed, the cart paths were overgrown and most of the bunkers unplayable. They are advertising "grand re-opening August 1, 2015" there is too much work to be done in the three weeks to meet that goal. I will play here again, but it won't be until September or October. I enjoy the layout and look forward to it regaining its composure.

Great course, when the new greens are usable the course wil be exceptonal (Aug). I did not like the fact that the booking did not include the fact that the whole course was using temporary greens. Golfnow needs to fix this

I played the course while they were redoing their greens which made it play much shorter than normal. Despite greens renovation, the fairways were awful with little to no real grass in sight. The watering appears constant as the sprinklers were on during the time I played. Major renovations appear to be in process and I was informed it was "cart path only"?? As if cart tracks made a difference in course condition. The distance between the 2nd green and the 3rd tee box, the 12th green and the 13th tee box, the 13th green and 14th tee box, 14th green and 15th tee boxes are long and not very well marked. Maybe the signs were consumed in the renovations? Overall, thanks to a discount, I only paid less than halfthe normal price to play this course and I feel like I overpayed. I think I was the only person on the course so the pace of play was good.

Redoing the greens, look like they are going to be large and varied... Should be fun..

this course is undergoing major renovations. all new greens. hopefully new tees. attention should be paid to tees and fairways. it should NOT be listed on golfnow for any price till September. I wasted 35.00 and 60 miles round trip because we only played 3 holes. it was that bad!!!!!

It would be nice if you let people know the greens are under construction. the fair ways are burnt out with very little grass. may be nice in the future but not now!!!

Temp greens for all holes. Poor fairways. Lousy bunkers.

Paid more here than Viera East. This was a rough track. Needs much maintence and care. Has the potential to be nice, guess no money? Have played municipal courses at half the price that were much nicer.

Fairways are dry, greens were burnt. We paid for 18 and it was so frustrating we quite after 9.

This is a must play if you are in the Melbourne, FL Area.

Greens were in very poor condition as were most of the fairways..Tee boxes also need attention. Seams as though the course may be lacking funds to keep the overall condition up to par. Very few people playing and a beautiful day.

Seems like such a great layout. Visually interesting, difficult holes. The conditions are terrible though! Somebody needs to do something here. Maybe the space coast has been on a prolonged drought but this course needs water and somebody to give a hoot. Never thought I would complain about $5 for a turkey sandwich but this one was not worth even that. White or wheat wonder bread, two slices of terrible deli turkey, American cheese and mayo. Lettuce and tomato? Not an option! Many better courses around for the same money or less
