Manatee Cove Golf Course

Conditions have deteriorated for about a year. I played yesterday and the tee boxes are in terrible shape. You could not tell if you are in the fairway or the rough. Greens are the exception as they are the only thing on this course in good condition. You should expect that during the summertime, the course should be getting updated for the winter season as you can see in the local golf clubs in the area as Duran, Viera East, Suntree and Baytree, but that is not the case at Manatee Cove. I hope something is done on this course soon.

Course is pretty open. Greens are excellent soft and quick. Fairways are nice the view is beautiful and always a great time playing here

Course was in pretty good shape, considering all the rain they had in area, the back 9 greens were aerated, so they should be ready in a few days

Manatee Cove requires military ID or a civilian pass however if you meet those requirements than Manatee Cove is a great place to play. Nice Practice area, Decent Pro Shop, Great Clubhouse for drinking and eating, and the course conditions are very good. Situated between the river and the ocean this course gets windy which can make the same hole play very short or very long depending on wind direction. The greens are beautiful and some of the best in the area. Add in the very affordable price tag, especially in the afternoon, and you have a must play.

The greens are super and roll true. You will enjoy the course layout, It has several challenging holes.
