Wasn't too bad
Great customer service from the staff as always. The only issue I had were the greens, more specifically the areas on the front and back. Lots of mixed grasses with bumpy grounds makes your approach shots (even those that make go too far) very unpredictable. Other than that, I enjoyed the peace and serenity of an otherwise fairly good course.
North/East very nice
The course is in excellent shape. Greens are quite fast. Had some issues with pace of play but group ahead that was moving slow let us play through at #10. Didn’t see any Marshall on a busy holiday with nice weather. Fun and challenging course with quite a bit of diversity of terrain, woods and open and some water.
Tough Course Layout
Played the South/west course. Tough layout, you have to place your shots well and be accurate off the tee or you could get into trouble. Greens roll fast and true but my only complaint is that people do a crappy job fixing there divots on the green there

Great time playing the course pace of play was a little slower than usual but the course is in great condition!

All Pointes
I had played the N-E course previously; today was S-W. Much different layout than the other side. Both are sufficiently challenging; the SW side may be a little longer.. I found it very enjoyable and well worth the greens fees.
Great course
The course is in great shape. The pin locations were difficult but it was a fun round and the weather was perfect. I really enjoy the NE course it was somewhat busy but our pace of play was great. It took the four of us 3.5 hours to play 18 which was great.
Best conditions I’ve seen in a long time at Compass Pointe
The N/E course is in great shape tee to green. The greens were rolling very quick and smooth. There were a few very iffy pin placements today, where the pin was located on a ridge or a crest with almost no flat spot. But overall a very solid experience. Certainly not a fast round for teeing off at 7:15 in the morning (took 4:10 to complete), but well worth the time.
Great experience
Course was in excellent shape. Greens were firm and fast. Very accommodating staff. Carts were clean.

The course is very challenging the greens were very fast in the course was in outstanding shape.
Compass has come long away!!!!!
Compass pointe is in great shape. The Bermuda fairways are starting to green up and will only get better as the weather gets warmer. The green are firm, roll true, and are some of the fastest public greens in Maryland, The fairways are wide enough but the greens are well protected with plenty of soft white sand bunkers. The course in this kind of shape is very challenging so move up a tee box and take some pressure of yourself. The whites tee boxes are more then enough challenge for anyone that does not have a single digit handicap.
Thanks to TJ as well for the great customer service. TJ always greets us with a smile and gets out on the course with out any delay!
