You can Be a single player with a tee time and they will allow a group of 4 to walk up and start on your tee time ahead of you, forcing you to a slow pace of play
The course is nice for this time of year and staff friendly.

This is a great course. And then when you factor in the price, it's a favorite for me and my friends. The layout is challenging, but fair. Pretty short . . . I've played with long hitters who hit through many of the fairways. Good golf shots and a target golf mentality is what you need.

All abilities will have a good time. I shoot low 80. I've played with low 70's golfers and beginners and everyone always has fun. It's usually quiet enough for two groups if you have that many. Many elevation changes and some great views.

Houses on a few holes, but nothing bothersome. I have seen the greens in rough shape with all the flooding in Bastrop. Not the best putting green and driving range, but who cares . . . PLAY THIS COURSE.

Although we played this in the winter, mid-50s, cart path only, rye grass overseed, it still is great to play this layout. Not many golfers early, but the greens were very good, as well as scenery and fauna, deer and roadrunners on the course.

The pace is seriously dead slow, expect to spend over 5:30 hours at least. The grass around the green, and the greens are wet as swamp.

Nice overall course, I like the narrow fairways so you have to be on your game. Green where slow, made putting a little easy.

Pace was fast,fairways weregood but had wet spots in a drought. Greens were good,but rolledunfairly off the green on good aproach shots.If you don't knowthe coarseandgreens you'll have a hard time scoring.

Somewhat challenging course. Lots of elevation changes. Wonderful Fall weather. Beautiful Texas Hill Country. Very fun and relaxing round of golf. Definitely worth the money through the savings with Golf Now.

Staff is awesome to work with. This is an excellent course for the money. Why pay outrageous prices?

Back nine will get you if you are careless with your drives!

The course is beautiful. The price to play this course is a steal. Worth the Drive! Great views and an Eagle to top it off.

The only negative was the St. Augustine on some of the fairways.

Course was very well watered and maintained. Greens were very soft and the MANY elevation changes were enjoyable. The course was empty which was a huge bonus, literally didn't see a single other golfer in front or behind us the entire round.

Well maintained, maybe the best course I've played for under 20 bucks. Very scenic and at times has dynamic elevation changes. Play twice to get a lie of the land as the course map is not very accurate, also no beverage service on the course, and hole ten is a bit tricky to find. Overall this was an unexpectedly good course.

No complaints besides that the greens could be a little more well kept

Very nice course would definitely play again. Golf carts were a little under powered with all the rolling hills. Fairways were open and in good condition. Greens were in good shape. Great scenery from various holes. We had a good round and a good time.

Rain has not hurt this course at all. River was high but course was in great shape. Played on a Monday with almost no one on the course. Great great value especially with Hot Deals! Will I play this course again....OH YES!!!

This is the least expensive course that is a lot of fun to play in Texas. The change in elevations for the par threes make it target golf at its finest. Number 12 is gorgeous with a 150 foot drop. I've never seen a course marshall on the course so if you get behind certain groups who plum bob the fairways and are rude, then it gets real slow. It's a short course but very fun. When the Colorado river floods, it turns number seven into a par 3 with an island green. Great stuff!

Love pine forest. Tough course with some very different and demanding holes. Ball placement is key.

This is just a average Texas public course. Pasture grass in the fairways, half dead greens. You hit a great tee shot and after the ball hits a rock you have a lousy tee shot. This area has had record rain fall and the greens are brown, some with bare spots. But, with the different elevations, the dog legs and water, you can still have a good time. The stalk is great and the price is right when using Golf Now Hot Deals. Have played there before, and am sure we will play it again. We know what it is and know what to expect.

This is a great golf course, we played after a flood. Some of the holes was closed because ground saturated.
