Windy conditions
Golfing in March is a blessing even if it isn’t during the prime season! Wonderful clubhouse staff and fast pace of play. Club up because wind is in you face everywhere. Makes for a challenging day!
Wind in your face!
The course wasn’t in the greatest condition but considering they just survived a snow fall and ice last week I was happy just getting out. Greens were fast and course was challenging because of the wind. I’m assuming the fairways were brown due to the time of year but I will play this course in future visits. I must say the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast sandwich was delicious.
Wonderful Course
My buddy and I played the tournament course yesterday and had a fantastic time. All of the staff were extremely helpful and kind, the course was in excellent condition, and we got an amazing deal through the app Golfnow. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.
Over Priced
Course conditions were not as good as expected. Fairways had a lot of rough patches and carts were nit available at scheduled tee time. Had to wait for a cart. Course needed mire signs to direct players to each hole. Food at club house was good. Course was over priced fir the experience.
Great round of golf
Pace of play was excellent on front nine and slowed down on the back. Excellent conditions. Tees were pushed really far up for some holes - which really changes how some of the holes played - but this is a really fun course. Greens were in amazing shape. Really rolled true. I would pick this course over 99% in Houston area.
Jesse
Great course, it was nice to play where the PRO's have played. It gives you great prospective of how good they are.
Tournament Course is the best
This is the closest us amateurs can come to play a Course played by PGA professionals. Great true putting greens, extremely well designed course that tests the club selection and hitting angles. Fantastic clubhouse and courteous staff. Highly recommended if anyone is here in Houston for a visit
Great course, pace was horrible
I loved this course. It was beautiful, challenging, and well maintained. The practice facilities were top notch and the staff very friendly. Pace of play was horrible, but that seemed to mostly be the group in front of us holding everyone up. I would absolutely recommend playing here
Challenging but fair
First time playing the Tournament Course. Course and greens in excellent condition for the winter. Played on a Wednesday and the pace was very quick. Only 3 putted twice, and made a couple long putts because the greens were fair and true, even though they were fast. Threw away a good round on the back, but it was not because of the course, I just hit some bad shots. The short par 3's had many ball marks, but the golfers here were very good about fixing their ball marks, which is appreciated. Played the "Combo" tees and I would recommend them for good, players. Plays just under 6,900 yards and offers a fair challenge that is not too long. Look forward to playing this course again.
GREAT VALUE FOR A CHALLENGING COURSE
If you want to experience how PGA Tour players play, this is one of the course called the Tournament Course, you should check out. Staff is very friendly and the Club House is Gorgeous on the 19th Hole
Great round of golf!
Front nine extremely challenging with water coming into play either off the tee or upon approach on 7 of 9 holes. Greens exacty what the tour plays on, firm, receptive and extremely fast putting, but pure with the line. Driving range and all other amenities first rate. Great day at the golf course and best value for the money!
Good condition for winter
Great & challenging layout. Course played tough in the conditions but still an enjoyable experience. Overall in good shape for winter in Texas.
One negative- don’t charge extra for range balls. Leaves a bad impression....
