About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

Interesting course
I love the design of course and it’s fun to play. Overall condition was good and greens were fair. White tees were shorter than normal and it should be modified.
The starter could be more courteous.

Worth every cent
The course is beautiful, in absolute fantastic condition. I have played many courses around Houston but this one steals the show, while it easy to say that all courses look good after this much rain and that’s fair, many courses still show the affect of the freeze or are honestly flooded with cart path only. 3 holes only where cart path at this course. The greens where amazing, great speed and better movement. Highly recommend, I never recommend! Hope to play in September and feel the same way about this course.

Slow pace of play
My only complaint is that marshals need to be speeding players up. Even cart path only 18 holes should not take 6 hours. My foursome was pushing both threesomes in front of us.

Always Solid
Course is always in pretty solid shape. Few standing weeds in the fairway and in the 1st cut on 15. Will continue to enjoy my rounds out here!

Nice course with friendly staff

Course very green
Needed rain helped a lot but the greens were somewhat slower than T18 norm.

Great course layout, horrible service.
Course is great because of how it resembles different holes on PGA courses. Only reason I can not give a great recommendation is because of staff. Not friendly at check in, very cold and no thought of giving us instructions on where tee box was or start times. Bartender was worse and seemed bothered when we ordered . If I'm going to spend money with you I'd expect at least a better attitude. Wont be going back unless friends reallybwant to.

Very cool course that has 18 replica holes from all over the USA in one place. From Augusta, Pebble Beach, Bayhill, all over! Closest to going to Augusta I'll ever get. Fast greens and good fairways.

Great course to play if your in the area. Staff were very friendly and professional. Course is in good shape greens roll good. Just a great experience for me as I am only in the area for a short time. Ball placement is key with this course and there is lots of hazards. Being a good bunker player is a definite plus.

General conditions
Most everything was good, except most of the stone signs describing each hole. They need desperately general maintenance and the island that holds the TOUR 18 sign and the palm trees are in terrible shape
