About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

Course was in great shape
Fairways and greens were in great shape. Conditions were a little severe do to cart path only which became very tiring on the last 3rd of the round.

5 hour round
Pace of play was an issue. We were a 4 some sandwiched between 2 groups of 5 (even thought the group in front was not supposed to be playing as 5 per the starter but once out of site, the 5th was playing). 5 bags was a dead give away!

Ok course, pace of play ridiculous
Foursomes stacked up and they even let a fivesome go in front of us. Right at 3 hours for nine holes. The rest of my group quit after nine. I played 3 more holes and quit myself.

Slow Going
It was Fathers Day weekend so I figured the course would be packed but surprisingly it wasn’t too bad. Course was in great shape and greens rolled true. The only complaint I have is the pace of play. I’m not sure what was the backup but we had to wait roughly 8-10 min between holes. And this started on hole 4. I feel the Marshall should have made the culprit group speed up a little bit. Overall Tour 18 is always a fun place to golf and a great place to golf with family. We had fun and most importantly my pops had fun!

Tour 18 Humble, Texas
Played Tour 18 today and the course was in great shape. Fairways are full of grass and maintained excellent condition. Greens are very good and putt true with nice speed. Traps are good despite the amount of rain we have been having. Pace of play was better the usual ( 4 hours) despite the high number of players. All in all a great course at a very good rate. Well worth the trip to play.

Can’t believe the price to play a course filled with greens covered in sand and dead grass. Fun course layout but terrible conditions.

Matchup
Tour 18 is in the best condition due to great spring rain and maintenance. Worth it everytime. Been here now 12 times and have only had 2 or 3 overcrowding issues but very well

Interesting course
I love the design of course and it’s fun to play. Overall condition was good and greens were fair. White tees were shorter than normal and it should be modified.
