About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

It’s in really good shape!
The course is in great shape! The fairways are lush and green, tee boxes are in decent shape and the greens are in really nice shape.

Hot Day, Great Round
First time on Tour 18. Tried not to be intimidated by playing a facsimile of holes I’ve seen watching tournament’s. Some places had burned grass areas from the heat, but maybe I shouldn’t have been there. Saw deer and assorted bird life. It was not a good ride spoiled. Hope to be back soon. Folks on site are very helpful and polite.

Decent course
The course was is decent shape. They took out all the water coolers on the course but haven’t increased the number of beverage carts so we went almost three hours without seeing the cart. With the temperature in Houston being in the mid 90s they should definitely look at fixing this.

Jack needs to be fired
Jack is an a****** and needs to be fired! I was checking in with my 4 some and he made a mistake and thought I was with a prior group. He did not apologize and actually got loud and aggressive. I quickly reminded him about is position to help people but he kept talking. I will never visit this course again due to his lack of incompetence. Roy is amazing, never had an issue, total class act! Other than Jack, course was in great shape!

Jack is a Arrogant Very rude and incompetent. I was checking in and he assumed I was with a prior group in front of me, and while I was trying to explain that to him, he dismissed me and became very aggressive. As a long time player of your 18, I have never been talked to in that way. Roy Stampley is always nice and courteous and treats everyone with respect, NEVER had an issue with him. Please get Jack off staff, or you will definitely loose more players. Course is in great shape otherwise!
Wife’s first round
It had been a long time since my last round. This was my wife's first experience. The course was in excellent condition. They were working on a couple of bunkers but in no way interfered with play. The scenery was beautiful and we had a very good time. We purchased our round through GolfNow’s Hot Deal program, so the value was fantastic.

Course condition
I thought that the fairways and the greens were in very good shape, but I thought the over all appearance of the course are not like it use to be but I’ll play it again.

Thirsty
This was our first time playing this course. We had a good time and I purchased the package where we all got free snacks and drinks and a meal after our round. I thought that would be a good thing for all 3 of us but as it turned out we were very disappointed, first of all we only saw the drink lady 3 times the entire time we were playing keep in mind it t is 90% out there and you didn’t even have any water at any of the holes along the way. How do you not have water? So needless to say by the time I got to hole 13 we were very thirsty and no water at the places where there should have been water and no person to get water from. You had plenty for cups at each water station BUT NO WATER!!!! By the time we got to the clubhouse we each drank like 3 bottles of water. Other than this we had a great time playing here.
