Surprisingly Good
I had stayed away from here because of past reviews, found a good deal though and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. Besides the bunkers which were mostly small rocks, the rest of the course was in good shape.
Greens were firm and rolled true, overall fairways were nice with a just a few rough patches here and there and the layout itself was enjoyable.
Id come back again forsure
Fast Undulating Greens, Great layout, need a bit of work
Played for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed with how well the greens rolled and tee boxes conditions. Fairways were spotty with lots of ground under repair not even marked and bunkers filled with water/overgrown with grass even on green side bunkers. The waste areas in the fairways are cool but not green side. Played from the blue tees which were perfect for my typical 250 yard drives. Overall very enjoyable round for under $55 a person it’s very worthwhile and I will be back soon.
Nice course to play
Had read some reviews about the course and was skeptical, however the course was a lot of fun, will use every club in the bag and the greens were in very good condition. Some fairways need work, but apparently it's a work in progress. Would definitely play there again!
Great Experience - So Much Improvement!!
We’ve played the course for many years and became fed up with poor conditions - BUT truly amazing improvements have taken place this year. We are very much enjoying playing Antler Creek again. We will now return to being regulars! Thank you - keep up the great work.
Great Layout with Zero TLC
Could be best course in town??!!! Bunkers are brutally maintained and no marshals on course. Players driving carts on green and pace of play not monitored. The potential of this course is top notch, but it is an actual goat track. Need new management/owner.
IMPROVING!!! Impressed to their improvement in conditions! Give them a chance again.
Place was a legit goat ranch previously. Greens have come a long long long way. I really hope this course keeps it up k LOVE playing here. It’s so hard, unlike really any course in co. It’s playable again which it has not been since prior to covid. Had a blast will keep an eye for hot deals as $72 to ride on a Friday is still a bit much for conditions. Played 9/26/25, give them a try!
Greens in poor shape
When we checked in at the pro shop, we were told the greens had just been topped dressed. Most of them still had a layer of sand on them and had not been dragged. A pro shop employee told us the golf pass site should have informed us before we committed to play.
Fairway needs work.
Purchased round through Golf Now. Course was in average shape with fairways extremely wet after previous day's rain. Fairways were in average condition at best. What GolfNow didn't mention (and clubhouse staff told us this info was given to golf now) was that the greens were just aerated. Couldn't get the ball to roll true to save my life.
Overall it's a real fun and challenging course. If it's your first time playing the course, do yourself a favor and download a map of holes so you can get a good understanding of where to land your tee shots, as this info wasn't available onsite.
Keep your expectations low
The course is not well maintained; spots on the fairways are lacking grass, there are several wet spots, many of the bunkers are full of weeds and unplayable. The greens were good and very undulating. It appears that the pins aren't moved very often as most of the edges were very rounded and worn down and not sharp. It was made pretty obvious on the score card that women shouldn't play the course as the 3 shortest tees were all marked with an (M) and the shortest was 5400+ yards. Many women can play the 5400 yard course, but not all. Also, there are no junior tees.
Fairway was not well maintained
This was my first time so maybe there was some underlying condition that I am not aware of. But the fairways was not right. Not sure how to describe it besides saying it was like a very thin layer of grass on mud. Once again it was my first time so maybe something was going on that I am not aware of and the course is usually nice.
Makes you think
I was absolutely blown away by how challenging and unique each hole was. Rarely do I play a course this well designed that is even slightly affordable. Unfortunately it shows in how well it's maintained. The fairways and greens were in decent shape but there were bunkers without sand, or weeds growing out of them. some even had standing water.
Overall i am still shocked at how challenging and long it played. Lots of blind shots and risky ways to cut the corners that tempt you into poor decisions. Definitely will play this one again.
Okay course but still over priced.
I decided to give this course a second chance as I’ve heard it gets better later summer/into the fall. It was better than it was before, but still not a well taken care of course that’s still over priced. The greens are patchy with geese poop on them. Sand bunkers were better but still either filled with weeds or hard as a rock. Fairways are somehow muddy, hard, and patchy all at the same time.
Long fun fairways to tee off on. Weather and evening tee time was great with a good sunset. Was able to finish our full 18 pushing up against the dark.
Not worth anything over $50 with cart.
Drop the price or maintain your course
Staff at check in is usually pretty good. Tee times are a free for all but if no one is 20-30 mins behind you, you’ll be fine. Otherwise you’ll have a group that is told to tee off early is driving while you’re hitting your second shot.
$52 for 9 holes and a cart on a Sunday isn’t terrible. But it’s pretty disappointing when the greens are beat up and bunkers are literal holes with road base and weeds. You can miss your ball hiding in a bunker because it’s swallowed by weeds lol.
I like this course but the price should drop or the money coming in needs to be spent to buy real sand and maintain the greens. It has potential!
Good value
Great layout. Very long course. Multiple tee options though. Course is very challenging. Staff was friendly, course was in good shape. If the course maintenance improves slightly, this is a five star course.
Diabolical Course
8000+ yards from the tips is insane! Even from the blue tees it’s still over 7k. Course was in ROUGH shape. You can tell thus course used to be amazing, buts struggling. It’s WAY over priced for the condition of the course. But the layout was fun and difficult if you’ve never played here before.
