Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Not sure what Gary Koch was thinking designing this course. It’s awful. Tricked out greens on every hole that play like a putt putt course. Because of so many hills they have to keep greens slow so the greens are grainy and don’t roll out. Also, the design of some of the holes are a joke. Like the first par 5 on the front with a tree in the middle of fairway 60 yards next to green???? Who does that? And the hill on that hole should have a clowns mouth to putt through. I wouldn’t play here again if it was a free round. I’m a single digit handicaper and play many courses but this one is the most ridiculously difficult course I’ve ever played. Golf is tough enough as it is without having to play greens that look like they are in a Goofy Golf cartoon. For $100 plus dollar greens fee there are too many more enjoyable courses to play in Orlando. Look for another one.

Course is in great condition with the challenges of undulating greens and true rolls. Take the trip to Mystic and it won't disappoint.

Nice layout, greens are a little slower than what I am used to. Good value for the money on GolfNow.

Well we booked as a twosome under a special two player in October. We got paired up with two ladies. It was a great time. Thank you Cat and Fair we enjoy your company as people and as golfer. Played a friend beer wager for last nine and we lost. Unfortunately the ladies didn’t let us pay up our wager as in reality they had other plans. Great time great golf. Slope of green were incredible. 5 star rating

overall good ratings but pace was slow, back nine definitely better conditioned over the front and, the greens were furry. still a good deal - i’ll be back

My 1st time playing Mystic Dunes and can’t wait to return for another round….highly recommend!! The entire staff was so welcoming and so very hospitable! The course is beautifully appointed with colorful plants, waterfalls and lovely restrooms!

The design is challenging and you have to know where to hit the ball, the greens are undulating and extremely challenging…but the course is very consistent and fair!!

Can’t wait to return!!

I hadn't played here in over a year, mostly due to the previous experience. At that time, the course conditions were not up to par (no pun intended), and for the rate they were charging, it was a total waste. This past Sunday, I was treated to a course in amazing shape! Everything about this course is outstanding right now. Greens are basically perfect, with almost no blemishes

on the rest of the course. If i had even one complaint it would be the pin position on No 6 green. The front pin is absolutely brutal. (Seriously, don't ever do that to me againn) This layout is tough, so bring your AAA game.

Played here several years ago and condition was horrible. Played today with a group of 40 and condition was great. Very challenging but so much fun with undulating greens. Highly recommend this golf course. Cart attendants were very friendly and helpful.

Greens are the toughest.I've putted on in Orlando area. If you want to be challenged this is the course to give it a go.

Have played here in 20+ years, and haven’t heard a lot of positive things in the last couple years. Started hearing about improvements lately so I thought I’d give it a spin.

Course is in pretty good shape now and you can tell it’s headed in the right direction. Greens were pretty good. Fairways have some needed grow time (we’ll see if the overseed) to be the best they can be. Tee boxes are ok and evidently getting much better. The bunkers and waste areas just went thru 2 hurricanes in the last month so they def get a pass. Overall the course was dry tho, so drainage is in shape there.

This has always been a pretty course. A little tricked up in areas (couple greens) but that’s the original design of this place. Love it or hate it, they’re starting to max out conditions here which is a great thing. I look forward to coming back. It’s definitely not your typical Florida course. Good job here! See you soon.
