Mystic Dunes Golf Club

A friend and I met to play this course several times and enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, and they pair you to make a group of 4 if you only have 2 golfers. This is good and I think helps the pace of play.

I played golf at Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club the weekend of 4th of July. Cory, the head pro at Mystic Dunes, was excellent!! He was helpful, attentive, and got everything I needed in order to play very quickly and efficiently. His staff are superb. They are also attentive to their guests and ensured I had an excellent time throughout my stay and playing on the course. I would highly recommend anyone to check out the golf course at Mystic Dunes when staying there. They have excellent staff and an excellent golf course. I am looking forward to playing there again soon within the next few weeks when I return. 10/10!!

Played this track several times this year and Mystic Dunes continues to impress. Two days after Milton blew thru central Florida and conditions were great considering the amount of rain and debris. Tee’d off 10 and observed the entire staff working clean up and care. All the greens remain challenging. Pedro, Mo and many others are on their game. .

The greens are very very undulating. Have to play twice to attack the pins. The course itself is wonderful and each hole has lots of character. Staff was great and definitely a value with the golf now rate. Only two issues were the cart died twice and had to call the pro shop to send out a signal to restart. The other issue is the condos and houses that surround the course are abundant.

I have played Mystic many times before and am very happy with the current conditions. There was a time a long time ago where the conditions were not good at all so I stopped golfing at Mystic but current management seems to on top of course conditions so will be back!!

Nice course. Was in pretty good shape. Moderately difficult. New ownership has made some noticeable improvements to the course and surroundings.

NOTE: The pro shop staff are great and knowledgeable about the course, very helpful. The starter and bag assistance is an active hindrance to this place. No idea when to send people off, breaking and pairing groups at random, delaying players by several tee times with a slower group in front....it makes no sense.

For having a hurricane pass through, the course is still in decent shape, some greens definitely need repairs but I am not faulting them for the storms.

For the money this is a great place to play. The biggest negative is the pace of play. We were the 2nd group out and after 50 minutes we were just finishing our 2nd hole. The first group out had know concept of pace of play and that they were holding up the entire course. I called the pro shop and was told they were only 10 minutes behind. We never saw a ranger or anyone from the pro shop. The round took almost 5.5 hours.

Very impressed with course conditions, and the golf course in general. I will return.

The greens are an extreme challenge, depending upon pin placement. Your overall game has to be intermediate Level to enjoy it. lots of bunkers that look like the Sahara desert. All facilities are top-notch, staff is extremely friendly. Golf carts have touchscreens that include music. I highly recommend this course to anyone and everyone.
