Friendly staff. Course in great shape. Front 9 is tight but back 9 opens up. Beautiful course with a beautif neighborhood surrounding it.. Thus is an old course that they told us Ben Hogan had played a tournamebt at. Make sure you play this one.

The condition of the course was substandard for a resort course. Fairways were bare. Greens were good. The value wasn’t there.

Myself and 7 other friends played early this morning and for some of us we had not been here since long before they shut down to get some work done, While they are not done yet I must say that where they are puts them way past the majority of then courses that we normally play who have finished their work on the courses.’The greens are perfect, sleek and fast. The areas that are still being worked are clearly marked. From the time we drove up until we departed the workers there were right there helping us. The front desk clerk and the starter were very professional, friendly and shared loads of useful information with us. The renumbering of the holes was also a plus as they switched the line ups of the front and back nine. A must play if you are in the Orlando Area…..

I am a recent transplant to this part of FL, and I'm trying to play as many courses as possible before I repeat visits.

This course may make me break that.

The course layout is fairly straightforward, a little bit of challenge and a decent amount of forgiveness.

I am returning to golf after several years (and several added lbs) and this is the most "comfortable course I've played in Central Florida thus far.

The only thing I didnt particularly care for was the greens....while they were in good shape and rolled pretty true, the design of the greens was infuriating. Almost every green had severe elevation changes and extremely difficult hole positions. I hit some of the nicest approaches I've hit in ages, and they ended up rolling completely off the green and in more than one case into bunkers...and I am not exaggerating when I say that these wedge approaches would have stayed within 10-15 feet of the flag on just about any other course Ive played in this area.

The staff was very friendly, and they had separate chipping and putting greens for warm-up, which is an amenity I sincerely appreciate.

All in All, a very nice course for what I paid. (The full-price greens fees are a bit high, so thank goodness for GolfNow)

Perfect day to play golf. Round was tarnished by a couple of holes with unfair greens. I play a lot of golf and Mystic Dunes has a few greens that border on the ridiculous. No better than putt putt on one green. I can't believe the price they ask to play here. Golf Now made it reasonable, other wise, no-go(lf).

Course needs water. Very dry conditions even thought it has been a wet month.

Extremely disappointing hitting a good shot and watch it roll from one side of fairway to off the fairway or hit a pitch within 3 ft of the pin and watch it run 15 yds off the green. Been playing for 60 yrs and I have never seen the edges off the green so short.

Course definitely has character with strategic drops and few elevation changes. Greens ranged from quite challenging to Imaginative and were at a good speed. The only improvement could have been a few areas outside of fairways that were not lush. Overall a wonderful and challenging experience. Must-Play course.

A very quirky layout in need of mucho TLC. Green undulations were some of the wackiest I have ever seen.

The course is undergoing some infrastructural work and so there are areas that are not pleasant to play, for example there are very sandy waste bunkers that should actually not be in play.

Had a round at Mystic Dunes post-renovation, and I’ve got to say, it’s impressive. It’s still healing, but the course conditions are solid. Greens were a touch slow, but they roll true and smooth.

🛣 Layout:

Really enjoyed the mix here. You’ve got some drivable par 4s for those feeling adventurous, but also tight sloping fairways that demand precision. And the size of those greens! They offer a fun challenge, especially with their undulations. Watch out for the bunkers; they can be a real game-changer.

🌱 Range Experience:

A quick nod to their practice range – it’s top-notch. Think Augusta-level pristine. Definitely enhances the warm-up experience.

The Par 3, 11th. It combines beauty and challenge with its beach-like surroundings and sloping green. Got some footage, so swipe to see!

Looking ahead, once this course completes its healing phase, it’s poised to be among Orlando’s elite. Worth checking out if you’re in the region.

Course is a little rough. Greens were very slow and bushy. Word is they are trying to get this course back into shape. I have played golf around the world and can say with no doubt that some of the greens on the front nine of this course are amongst the craziest as far as undulations go. Im sure you could ski down one of them if there was snow here! Borderline crazy!! Prices need to be lower for the current conditions.
