Great course with a wide variety of challenging holes.
I always enjoy a round of golf here as the staff is very attentive and the course is both challenging and well maintained. The many amenities make a round here a special experience.
Must Play!!!
This was an excellent course to play. From the friendly staff to the beautiful views this was everything I could have asked for. I would recommend this course to everyone I know.
This course is ok.
It is ok. I didn't find anything great about it. No way to walk . Some tees way apart. Pace was pretty slow. Other options around the Lake are better.
Adventure on every hole!
The River course was beautiful with lots of reflective lakes and several holes on the Osage River. This nine hole course required strategic golfing. The two dollar course book is well worth the investment! Holes were not long, but had to be carefully navigated to avoid well placed sand traps and obstacles. I would definitely play this part of the 27 hole layout again . . . very picturesque! The Mountain course presented a huge challenge with long holes that all had elevation changes. If you have difficulty walking or terrain changes wear you out, this may be too much for you. The course is well maintained, and has many surprises and challenges between tee and green. Greens did putt well and most were huge and allowed approach irons to hit the target. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
This course is great
Only complaint the mountain course has too many blind shots that it's hard to find ur ball in the rough
MUST PLAY IF IN LAKE OZARK AREA
Arnold Palmer design, what more do you need to know!? Absolutely gorgeous, well maintained course. 27 hole layout is challenging (when playing from the tips) so I recommend getting a yardage book at the club house. Worth the $2, big time. The range has complementary balls and has a nice variation of targets. The putting area was excellent. As was the chipping and bunker area. Overall I highly recommend Osage National.
Great course
Was an excellent place to play golf. Nice fairways and greens. There were 2 greens in need of repair on low spots by the water but still nice. Pace of play was good. Finished 18 holes on river/mountain courses in 3 1/2 hours. Would recommend playing atleast once. Will be back to try the other course
Fun course in good condition
Had a great time playing the River and Mountain 9s. Overall the course conditions were good, except for the bunkers. The greens were a little slow but smooth. The bunkers throughout the course contain a lot of rock, not worth getting scuff marks on my wedges to hit out of them.
Course is overpriced
This was the first time playing this course and I was disappointed. The sand traps were more like gravel traps and a few of the greens were thin. I would only play this course at a reduced rate, the posted prices are too high for the conditions.
Too wet
The coarse was to wet, should have been closed.
By booking online did not have the option to cancel so played golf on a sponge. Not happy,
Golf Now should have a means of allowing their customers to cancel and get rain checks when the coarse is that wet. There were a lot of golfers complaining about the wet coarse.
January golf in Missouri
The course was in average shape for the end of January in Missouri cart path only suck though
a good course
a beautiful course, a very nice challenging layout.
In Good Shape and Fun
I normally don't play Osage National due to their consistantly high prices (for this area). This is however, one of the top two courses in the area in terms of the conditions of the greens and bunkers, so at least it is fair that they are among the most expensive.
I found a hotdeals rate on GolfNow, and this made it reasonably priced (for me).
Beautiful setting and challenging course. Good food and beverages at a fair price. I've played in the summer and some reason it seems that this course doesn't get as much breeze as others, so it can be really hot. I played in the fall and it was beautiful.
Pace of play was ridiculously slow
Took over 5 hours to play 18 holes as a twosome. People stacked up on each tee box. Overall not impressed
Excellent course
This was my first round at Osage National and was very pleased. Beautiful layout in excelant condition, best greens I've played on. It was very busy but the marshals kept the pace at 4 hours. Would definitely go back.
Loved it
Scenic property, challenging but fair course in outstanding condition.
Very Enjoyable
Loved Playing it. Very challenging and would like to go play again.
Bunkers suck
Beautiful course, my 2nd time to play, love the course but the bunkers suck. They look like they are filled with gravel out of the osage river. Pieces of rock big enough to damage your clubs. Hope they do something about this.
