Called the oaks for a reason
Fairly good layout. Lots of blind tee shots over hills and ridges. The edges of most fairways slope out into the trees and valleys with little or no grass to slow them. The worst part of the day was the leaves. We didn't see any staff anywhere trying to clear the leaves out of the fairways or the roughs. So every shot was a search even if you knew right where it was. That tends to wear on you hole after hole. Greens were fast and smooth if they weren't covered in leaves.
Highly recommend this course
We played this course over the Labor day weekend. The course has many challenging holes but has many tee choices and provides fun for all levels of experience. We have played here many time over 30 years
and the course has always been in tip top shape.
The oaks
Just played a round and 1/2 at the oaks while visiting the lakes of the ozarks . The course was in great shape . The greens good size and the fairways where set up so that it was easy to follow the routing . The elevation changes where awesome. This is an outstanding piece of property and I will be back !! Highly recommend this course !
Want to play it again!
We have a family vacation every year and we always play golf. Everyone agreed this was the best course we have played since the beginning of our family vacations! And, we have played some good courses!
Tuesday tee time
The staff was very accommodating. Got to go off a little early. Course seems in good shape. A lot of different tee boxes to help whichever distance you desire for your game..
Thank you....
Beautiful Course
On a Hot Late June day the course was in immaculate condition and a little breeze made it very comfortable.
I played this course in April and it was 41 degrees, I wanted to give it a second chance and I am so happy I did. The course is in the tip top shape, from greens to fairways, not a complaint at all. Thank you to the staff as well, they are super friendly
The Oaks at Margaritaville
Fairways and Greens were in very good shape. Some tee boxes were patchy but overall good. Was surprised they didn’t put a sand bottle on my cart. Felt guilty I didn’t have the ability to fix a few divots. Did however repair my ball mark and 1 other on all the greens. Wish I had a hole by hole guide as some holes require precise placement, playing to 1 side or laying up off the tee. My first time playing it kicked my butt from the white tees but could definitely shave off 5-7 strokes next time I play.
Awesome course
Very slow play they allowed 4 groups of 4 out in front of a solo very poor management no one would let me play through very slow but other than that awesome course
Great shape
The course was in really nice condition especially with all the rain we’ve had. Greens are very quick but still very receptive. Great overall course
