Great course, great greens at an affordable price. Need i say more!

한국에서 관광 및 친척집 방문을 하게되어 가까이 있는 골프장을 찾다보니 웨이스트리지 골프장을 방문하게 되었다. 4월 초에 첫 방문후 두번째 방문을 해 조금 여유롭게 골프를 즐길수 있었다. 첫방문시는 조인된 팀과는 속도가 맞지 않아 내 페이스대로 진행할 수가 없어 아쉬운 라운딩 이었지만, 이번 21일 라운딩은 조인팀 없이 2인이 진행되어 우리들의 속도에 맞추어 아주 만족한 골프를 즐겼다 . 또한 2번째 방문이라 코스 이해도도 생겨 첫번째보다는 좀 더 즐길면서 마쳤다, 코스 컨디션만 조금더 개선된다면 가성비 높은, 자주 찾는 골프장이 될것이다.

The worst course run by even worse people. Every hole had a major flaw due to poor landscaping. Save your money.

Pouring rain when we started, staff let us know that we can wait it out at the club house. No bar or facility to wait it out. There is a restaurant there, but it was not open.

Otherwise, we got to get out after when the rain let up and it was great. Staff were great.

Westridge is a fun track with a nice mix of ups, downs, narrow, wide, shorts, longs, and fair, challenging greens. Bring plenty of extra balls if you can’t always keep it straight. I’ll be back and hope that pace of play is more reasonable next time.

This is a hillside course with many terraced, narrow fairways and a few holes running straight uphill or downhill. Greens are smooth & receptive with some tricky undulations and run at a medium speed. The fairway grass is a bit thick and tends to grab your club on imperfect hits. There’s several large dirt spots on the tee boxes and fairways, just plan on giving yourself some free relief. Traps all had nice sand but were covered in footprints. Does anyone there know how to use a rake?

Golf carts are mandatory and are quite nice but don’t include GPS. You can no longer drive your cart to the parking lot, so use the bag drop. You’ll still need to lug your clubs downstairs.

Pace of play was poor: 5 hours starting a 11am on a Monday. Stern warnings on the carts to maintain 4:15 pace seem like empty threats. We saw a marshal but he didn’t seem to do much.

Walked thru the clubhouse door for first time ever. At check in, young man behind counter was zero help and very rude. Another golfer had to tell us where to go and how to get our cart. As for the course, really enjoyed it. Lots of uphill and downhill holes. Didn’t see many straight putts but greens were excellent.

On time tee-off Sunday 9:40. I'm not a fan of weekend play normally, but I can do 4:20 hrs! Marshalls patrolling/stationed all over the course. Beautiful day to golf, difficult and challenging fairways. Greens in great health and all rolling fast. A fair # of pins in unfair position due to slope and sand protection in my opinion. As for sand, some traps ( Huge PGA type bunkers), on the thin side others fluffy and just right for getting. Once in the rough you will be punished. Mogul type landscape awaits. Water here and there and is especially in play on the back nine. No beverage service, strange. Its was 91 deg! by 2pm. No club rental? We had a visitor from out of town. Driving range yes, but no carts allowed out of the corral unless headed to a tee so we have no report on range. Expect to loose balls here, but while looking for yours expect to find at least 5 others. Excellent Korean barbecue restaurant on site! Definitely putting this course in my rotation.

Course is neglected . Yardages are not marked on course. Mandatory carts are junk - our cart missing windshield on a chilly morning.
