5+ hour rounds
Dad's continue to overbook their golf course. Lets starts with the driving range which is located across the street from the parking lot. That your not "allowed" to drive a golf cart up too. Then good luck trying to get a spot on the driving range which is always full and multiple people waiting. Then usually tee times are running 10-15 minutes late and your backed up on every hole due to overlooking. I've never played a round in under 5 hours at this golf course
Must Play Here!!
What a hidden gem right in the heart of Anaheim! Dad Miller Golf Course is absolutely beautiful and impressively well maintained. The greens are smooth, the fairways are lush, and every corner of the property shows real care and attention. The golf carts are in great condition clean, fully charged, and clearly looked after, which makes the round that much more enjoyable.
From start to finish, the staff made the experience top-tier. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the team throughout the course was genuinely welcoming. After the round, we stayed for dinner and were blown away by both the food and the service easily one of the best clubhouse experiences I’ve had.
Hole 15 is currently being worked on, but honestly, it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. It’s being played as a par 3, and the rest of the layout more than makes up for it with a great mix of par 4s and 5s that challenge without punishing.
I can’t believe this place isn’t talked about more. If you’re in the area, you have to play here Dad Miller is a course that delivers far more than expected in every way.
Solid
Solid, fun course but lots of soggy/muddy spots that day and teed off 20 min behind schedule.
South Forty Hay Field
The course is two weeks out of punching the greens and fairways and it looks like it was done just yesterday. Horrible rough, clumpy fairways, uneven tee boxes, unputtable greens and overcrowdedness makes this place a hellish. I quit after nine holes. Pity, because when this course used to be playable, it was a fun layout
Great for the Price
Course conditions were good. Greens are generally quite small which makes getting GIRs more challenging but fun. No complaints about the course, though it gets crowded and the pace of play was slow at times. Also, keep an eye on your ball at all times because other players will steal them. Driving range is on the side of the back nine, so arrive very early if you plan to warm up.
To slow
It's a shame about this course, I grew up playing it and there used be Marshall's that would come by with cold water and if you were playing to slow they would speed you up. There was two twosome in front of us instead of having one foursome and then we got to the 7th hole a par 3 and there was a four group wait. I called in and told the pro shop what was going on and they said to ask me to tell them to start waving people up and when I did everyone looked at me like was crazy. I left after the 8th hole because there was 3 groups waiting on the 9th hole and that was at the 2:20 minutes mark so I left.
Great Time at Dad Miller
You can't go wrong golfing at Dad Miller!!! Nice course....not too hilly. Definitely walkable if you choose that route.
They are always on time and the staff is extremely friendly.
Dad Miller
It's a narrow course. If you can't hit your driver straight you will be in another fairway. The greens a well maintained. if you're a single you will have to share a cart. didn't like the layout as much and the driving range is across the street from the club house which is extremely inconvenient.
