Slow play at Sunday Twilight
Slow play since my group played behind a group of ladies.
Money grab
If you’re thinking about booking here, read this first.
This isn’t just a one-off bad round—this is a pattern. Course conditions are consistently below average, tee times are stacked so tight that a round pushes past 5 hours, and you’re paying full price for an experience that keeps getting worse.
The biggest issue isn’t even the course—it’s how players are being treated. You pay for a cart, then get forced to share with a stranger. If that person leaves early, is sick, or just doesn’t respect pace of play, that’s your problem now—not the course’s. Meanwhile, management keeps packing the tee sheet knowing full well it slows everything down.
At some point, this stops being “just how public golf is” and starts being about accountability.
If you care about your time and your money, stop accepting this as normal. Play elsewhere. Support courses that actually respect golfers and maintain their product. Nothing changes until we stop rewarding bad experiences.
I won’t be back until something changes—and if more people take that approach, maybe it finally will.
Hairy
Hairy rough , makes it a nice challenge but some parts of the rough just seem like they aren’t manicuring
Slow Play
Play was extremely slow! Had to hit and wait on almost every shot. It shouldn’t take 5 hours to play, especially riding.
No aerification posted on golf now
I was not too thrilled to find out the greens had just been punched. When I mentioned that to the staff, they said it was posted on their website but not on golf now. They really should have it noted on Golf now as well as any other tee time booking system they may use.
Air rated greens was not notified prior to making teatime. And pins were in front of the green and was not notified of the condition they were doing.
Worst experience at a golf course
Our group had a 7:30 AM tee time for the back nine this past Saturday. Due to the course being backed up, we did not actually tee off until about 7:50 AM. The pace of play was extremely slow because every group ahead of us was waiting, and it ultimately took us approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete nine holes. We were simply playing at the pace of the course and waiting for the group ahead of us on every hole.
However, the most concerning part of the experience involved an employee by the name of Ray, who works at the front desk of the golf shop and was playing directly behind us.
While we were sitting in the fairway waiting for the group ahead of us to clear the hole, a ball struck our golf cart. When we approached Ray about the situation, instead of apologizing, he claimed he “didn’t see us” and then accused us of playing too slowly. Given that we were clearly visible and waiting for the group ahead to finish the hole, it is obvious that he hit the ball intentionally toward us.
His behavior escalated from there. He continued to run his mouth and even made inappropriate remarks to the father and daughter playing in our group, saying that her daughter shouldn’t even be playing and implying it looked like her first time on the course. This was completely disrespectful and uncalled for.
He also continued to mock us by calling the clubhouse to find out our names and then sarcastically shouting things like “good shot,” while referencing us by name.
What is most shocking is that this individual is an employee representing your facility. It is unacceptable that an employee would behave this way toward paying customers, especially during a busy Saturday morning. At one point, he even attempted to threaten us by saying his father is a Mongol.
We reported the incident to the manager on duty and were told that there have been several complaints about this employee in the past. If that is the case, it raises serious concerns about why this behavior has been allowed to continue.
Will never return to this facility
