The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Great value
It's been a couple years since I played here and was disappointing the course conditions, however it just could be time of year (late October)
It's a great value at $65 cart included and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Disappointed
The course lay out was great but the conditions were awful. The tire tracks from the maintenance crew was more pronounced than it should be. Parts of the fairway didn’t have grass, just dirt and sand. The green’s condition was very inconsistent where there was a lot of sand on it and bunch of dirt spots. If it wasn’t for a great pace of play, it would be a total disaster.

Needs work
Needs work. Nice layout. Challenging yet doable. Bare spots in fairways, some greens have bare spots also. Sand bunkers need sand. This used to be a top notch course, but it has fallen on some hard times.

Good value
This course was a little rough. Slow greens with some damage. But very fair. Great staff.

Very slow Pace
4hrs and 15 minutes into my round was still at 13th hole.
It wasn’t the players, just how they had all the tee times crammed up.
To top it off after the 9th hole they started à two some on the back nine.

Nothing special
The staff were very friendly and that’s all it has going for it really. Probably half of the tee boxes have little to no grass. Quite a few greens were in rough shape. The course was still very soggy and soft. There was no cart girl and the temps were in the high 80’s to low 90’s. Other than the price it’s not worth anymore than that to play. The course was wide open and the pace of play way still very slow.

Mud everywhere and only a hand full of full greens
pro was rude and yelled from office instead of coming out to desk and being professional and having a conversation like most adults do. Mud everywhere. First 4-5 greens all have massive dead spots and are not full. Tee boxes are barley level and have a bunch of dead grass. Mud everywhere fairways green side and rough, might’ve been 4-5 greens that were actually full and healthy. Slow greens. A lot of unkept bunkers.They don’t want to drop your stuff off at that bag drop when you’re finished instead you get to lug it up the hill.

Better Options in Orlando
I played here several years ago and had fond memories, however, when I arrived I knew right away things had changed. The course staff was super friendly, however the conditions appear to be the a scenario where ownership’s interest in keeping the course aesthetically pleasing is lacking. The layout is what I remembered, which is good, but this is definitely a situation where you get what you pay for.

A good course, but lacks a little TLC. Enjoyed the course today, good pace of play. Restaurant was closed and no trolley service (but they didn’t tell us before we went out to “stock up”.
We will be back, but the course has seen better days and needs some investment

Falcons Fire
The course seems to have lost an edge from where it was a few years ago, and perhaps lacks some investment (eg trimming the edges of the bunkers; bumps on the off ramps not smooth). Perhaps being picky, but this should be a premier course in the area and has the potential.
We will be back as we enjoyed the round. Maybe I am harsh, but that is what reviews are for perhaps.

Not good
No enforcement of pace of play. Course conditions were not good. Really Slow greens. Patchy fairways and greens.

Great layout
This course could easily be a 5 star course with it's layout. Unfortunately the course needs to invest in a little thing called drainage. It was wet as expected considering it rained the night before. It's quite obvious they need to bring a drainage engineer into the fold. If they could do this, the course would be my favorite in the area.

Really rough shape
I play a lot of cheap golf courses and was expecting a little upgrade from I’m used to, sadly it was the opposite. Most bunkers had knee deep puddles that looked they have been that way for a long time with grass growing it. Tons of weeds everywhere. The fairways were extremely sparse and muddy. Greens were better than fairways but not full with lots of sandy patches. Starter was sending out multiple groups of 2 behind a slow group of 4. All of the twosome’s were jammed up. Unless you can get a round for $15 I’d pass. Tons of better options. I wouldn’t play it again unless it hasn’t rained in the past 2 months.

Manager was Rude
Shop was close when we arrived in the morning , no staff. The gentleman that had us go out without checking in said we’d be charged at the turn or the round would be free . No one informed us or gave us next steps . At the end of the round as I usually dominated home. Tyler call me rude and sarcastic treating me like a criminal. I proceeded to call him out on it and he said he would charge my card on file which I agreed to . He called me back in rude and sarcastic treating me like a non paying criminal when it was their fault that no one showed up to open up the pro shop. No apologies , just rude behavior and terrible customer service . He said he was the manager and he reported to no one , that I gave to reach out to the Hampton direction with any complaints. I have no problem paying for golf, I love golf and payed a lot of money playing… don’t need to be treated like a criminal . Dude has a superiority complex.
