The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Falcons Fire is coming back
Falcons Fire is on the road back. The course was in great shape today. The staff was super friendly. Cart girl was wonderful. Lunch at the turn was great. They are working some areas still but they are working hard at it you can tell. It’s back to feeling like your own country club again. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Course has character
I base my course rating on.challenging holes and character of the course. This course has both, and it was in very good shape. The staff was very friendly the starter was very informative on course layout and pace of play. According to one of the on course ranger’s we were on time pace. Our group waited on every shot, the group in front of us were not playing the correct tees they should have been playing red. No fault of the course. I would play this course if I am back in the Kissimmee FL area.

Awesome layout
I had buddies down for a weeklong golf trip and this was our second course. I live nearby and I had seen some reviews about the course needing some attention and I could tell from the toll road some areas were sparse. But within the last six months it seemed to have really improved so I booked a tee time and I was extremely happy with that decision. The layout is extremely fun and presents some interesting challenges. The tee boxes and fairways and rough were in excellent condition and they have really fluffy sand in the bunkers which were well maintained. The only issue was the greens as it seems as if they were neglected for some time previously but they have been getting them back in shape for a couple of years. They did have some patches on certain holes but I believe they cut back som trees around problem greens. The pace of the greens were super slow but I think that might be due to them getting them healthy again. I think in another 3 to 6 months this place will be back to peak form. Definitely looking forward to playing this again and the staff were excellent. Starter was fun to talk to and the on course ambassador was doing a great job of keeping the players moving as we almost never had to wait.

Layout made up for a few things
Interesting experience. The clubhouse staff was amazing, the gentleman at the bag drop told us that a ride along would be double the price of what it actually was, I assume, to try and steer us away from having one (wasn’t going to happen). The starter was incredibly friendly.
They made us tee off in heavy fog. Which made my first time being at the course interesting since you couldn’t see your ball after the first 100 yards. The layout was so much fun!! Holes that test your full game. The greens left A LOT to be desired. Unavoidable dead spots and they were on almost all of the greens. Putting was tricky due to unrepaired ball marks and those dead spots. Being one of the first 4-5 groups out I can’t imagine they all came from that day.

DO NOT PLAY HERE
Horrible conditions, greens are dying, giant dead patches everywhere, no one at bagroom knows if they even have a superintendent,probably not. Greens super slow,bumping,wet, sponge,pin placement was wrong on GPS and several pins on illegal placements(hills), tees were destroyed with a lot of sand and not place to put a tee. Obviously markers hasn't moved on days.
We waiting at the restaurant for 15' and we have to leave because no one come over to offer a glass of water. They charge you 130$ + tax for the round, the course may worth 35$ at the must. I will never come back here again, not even for free. Seems like they are going out of business since Marriott left the property.

Excellent course
Excellent course, excellent conditions. Will play this course again. Play the right tees to make this course fair and fun. However, Hole 18 par 4 from the forward tees at 401 Yds is a joke… Driver, Driver…. Oh thats right I can’t use a tee in the fairway… Okay no more sarcasm; as I will play this course again… I’ll just accept that 18 is a par 5.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Played twice while in the Orlando area. A few of the greens had recently been aerated but didn’t effect putting much. Super helpful staff , will definitely play again.

Great Golf Facilities
Falcon Fire is one of our favorite golf courses in Orlando. It has a great layout, good practice area, fully stocked golf shop and when the round is over, the food in the restaurant is excellent.
