The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Horrible
Course is in horrible condition. Staff was rude and arrogant. Not sure why when you're operating a Course in that bad of shape.

Bad conditions

Good design but poor valve
Course is layed out nice but very poor greens to poor fairways, way over priced for conditions of the course

Wednesday afternoon golfing 🏌️
Greens are in bad shape, no cart person, bar & store closed. Super slow group in front of us. In other words ‘ nothing was right’.

Not in good shape
The greens and tees are not in good shape. I love the course layout and like the range area but the course itself needs a lot of attention.

Good course— POOR greens conditions
Many of the tee-boxes and greens were in very bad condition. Dried out, dead and diseased. They covered the greens with sand to help which only made putting more difficult. The tee boxes were just left alone— need to work on improving the teeboxes

Terrible condition
I've played this course for the last 15yrs, it use to be one of my favorite courses. Unfortunately the conditions of the course are probably the worst of any course I've played. It wasn't worth the $42, I certainly hope they can bring the course back to enjoyable conditions. This course was one of the best public courses in the kissimmee area, now it's one of the worst.

For 100$ go ANYWHERE else!
This course was such a disappointment I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve played really nice courses all over central Florida and I expected this one to be another really nice course. Unfortunately, this course is in absolutely HORRIBLE shape! Half dead greens, some completely dirt tee boxes and some fairways that could be described as sand traps in places. To top it off, the driving range was closed, the restaurant closed at 4 and for some reason the pro shop was locked up at 5! You know it’s sad when the guys taking the cart back ask how your round was and you respond with pretty bad since the course is almost unplayable, say “yeah they haven’t been taking care of the course very well.” If you wanna pay around $100 for a round of golf, go visit Southern Dunes or Legends at Clermont, at least there you’ll get some semblance of your money’s worth!

Overrated
I have been a regular customer of this course for 17 years - the last two times the course seemed warn out and not very high standard, brown, bumpy tee-boxes, and poorly maintained greens.
Such a pity, as it used to be the go to course for fair value for money - now it just appears way to expensive for what it is. Staff is super friendly include the lady in the restaurant,.

Don’t get burned
Within the Seaworld / north of Disney a couple of exits area of Orlando, golfers don’t really have many options (Hawks landing, Shingle Creek, Celebration and Disney courses). This place is one of those few options and will be my last here probably for awhile. It’s obvious the price here is based on what the courses around it are charging. All of which are really resort courses. At these rates, I expect at minimum consistent greens that are maintained well. Tee boxes that are level and have grass on them, in short a well maintained course. You won’t find any of that here. several of the greens had large patches of grass missing and not level with the rest of the green. Others had weeds not mowed to the same level. Overall a terribly maintained course considering the price point. Pay the little bit extra and play Shingle Creek, or travel to any of the Kissimmee courses and pay 1/3 the price of this one with about the same level of maintenance.

Not what it used to be....
granted - it's early spring and we're in the dry season - but this course was much nicer when I played it previously. In a nutshell - IMHO not worth what they charge.
WAY too many good courses in this area - most are pricier - but this course isn't worth what they charge right now (thin fairways, many bad tee boxes, slow greens).

Look for another
I do not typically write on these unless I feel real strongly. Many greens and tees were burnt out / had no grass. Many sand traps had water even though it had not rained in FL for some days. Clumps of cut grass were everywhere. You can tell easily that this course is no longer cared for.

I’ve seen better
Falcon’s Fire came highly recommended. I signed up as a single and was supposed to play with a threesome. They never showed. Called club house and they are clueless. I go out as a single. The fairways were threadbare in spots and some of the greens weren’t much better.
I will say that several groups let me play through which was decent. I also enjoyed the layout of the course. I just wish it had been in better condition.

Spotty and sandy greens
Many of the greens were bumpy and full of sand with little grass. Many tee boxes weren’t nicely manicured. The course had a great layout with some challenging holes. Amenities were great. Friendly staff. My only concern was that for 100 dollars, I expected to at least play on nice greens. Hopefully the greens get better!

Rough Greens
Impressed by the weed-free, beautiful fairways, so was surprised by the bald spots on the greens and poor condition of the tee boxes. The greens are cut high and very slow; never could adjust to them. A beautiful course otherwise and fun to play.
