Disappointing

We play this course every year we come to Florida and always look forward to playing it. This year was a complete disappointment. Course was not in good shape, brown fairways, sand traps overgrown with weeds surrounding, tee boxes were bare to spotty. All greens were slow, with brown spots throughout. The green on 14 was unputtable with white large areas of sand throughout. Sad for such a nice track. Only redeeming feature was the bistro food was good but hard to be happy after a disappointing day of golf. The course needs a lot of attention to bring back to where it always was maintained in the past.

We’ve played Falcon Fire for years with my Golf group. This year. The course was in the worst condition. We would not come back the traps the tee boxes, the greens, the fairways all very poor condition. It’s too bad.

Disappointed

Couldn’t wait to play here as the past couple of years the place was great and worth the money. Brought a group of 8 players and we all agreed it was the worst course of the week especially for the money. A couple greens had clippings all over them. Most greens were shot. Driving range was great, and cart girl did a great job. Gentleman working pro shop seemed bothered we were there to check in. A course in this condition should be discounted heavily.

Falcon’s Fire was a disaster

Can’t emphasize how disappointed we are after playing Falcon’s Fire on Sunday. Greens were Brown, no grass in 50% of the fairways. Other Orlando courses are just fine, but something’s happened at Falcon’s Fire. Been awhile since we’ve played here (15 years?) so not sure when it went downhill. Stay away!

Way to much for a course in this shape!

Could be the numbers of rounds, the course was brown to many sand spots in the fairway. Greens had a lot of grass growths, affecting the puts immensely! Could be a $150.00 course if well taken care of.

Has gone downhill

A big decline from previous years— it took over 20 minutes just to get a cart, play was headed toward 5.5 to 6 hours when we gave up after 12 holes. Maintenance very poor— places on greens and elsewhere were scalped, course in overall poor condition. Will look elsewhere in the future, a shame as we have really enjoyed it in the past. Pretty much a dirt track now.

Gone downhill in the last 5 years! Don’t waste your money!

I was really looking forward to playing here after a 5 year absence… only to be incredibly disappointed! Our golf buggy was packed with empty beer tins, no scorecard, water instead of ice… a poor first impression. The course itself has not been maintained. Tees… rough with no tee boxes and tees littered everywhere. Fairways average with a lot of scrubland. Bunkers poor… often not raked…. and lastly… the greens and front aprons were shocking for 90% of the round! Very poor and hugely disappointing! We came off at the 9th it was that bad!

They’ve lost it

It had been a bit since I’ve played FF. They’ve lost the course at this point. Some rough seemed over seeded while some was not. Patchy, muddy, or sandy areas in the fairways and rough. But the greens were the biggest disappointment, so many spots of straight mud or sand. Also, they send players off 1 and 10 on the weekends and it’s the slowest round I’ve played in years. Waiting on every shot. Won’t be back
