Mostly Flat
I tried this location for a hot deal bargain price. From hole to hole, this course has little variation in slope and format. The most challenging holes are the long par fours. It meets the needs of golfers on tight budgets, and provides adequate fairways with well maintained greens. The simple landscape is appropriate to the function of this course; it is a good deal at regular price and I expect to play again. I did not visit the clubhouse.
I'm new
I dont know much about golf but nice course staff is awesome really appreciated zack and his helpfulness really like how he cleans the carts after use especially during this pandemic!
Nice track , challenging, Greens were long , just because they laid down the winter rye grass. Lots of potential. Will play again...
Needs Help
Sorry to say this course is not in good shape, I feel for the staff, I don't think they have any support, I understand that it has recently been picked up by a new management company and I hope they can get it back in playable condition, I laughed through 4 holes as the greens were mowed to just shy of what a tee box would be and the fairway was not mowed at all, I left after playing only 4 holes. Sorry for the poor review but have to be honest
Course was in poor shape.
The course was on poor shape. Many bare spots and only 9 holes were open. This is the worse shape I have seen this course in 30+ years.
Course needs work
Rivers Edge is a below average municipal course. The greens were very, very slow and one of the two nines was closed. We asked what the rate was to walk another 9 and they said $23 each. Come on, this course is not that nice to demand that kind of rate.
This course good to play on hot summer days. alot of shade trees.
Overall, love to play golf Rivers edge golf course always a good place to go., for new and intermediate players.
I'll play again
It's kind of a cow pasture. Had to bump my ball to hit off the grass quite a bit. Greens are a little slow. I like the layout, it's an old style muni. I wouldn't play it at regular rates, but at the GolfNow pricing ($15), tough to beat! Bunkers haven't been groomed in a long time! Players don't seem to care about raking either.
this course has new seeding, greens are a little slow
Over all very nice course, the greens are a little slow do to the new seeding, but starting to look good.
Rivers edge
Good value online. Course is in good shape after the over seeding.
Perfect greens
The greens were stellar smooth & surprisingly not very crowded
Fair and fun
We had heard good things about the course and weren't disappointed. Most holes are straight forward, with ample fairways with good grass, rough was fair. The greens were a little slower than some, but ran true and received the ball well.
An Enjoyable Golf Course
Really enjoyed our round of golf at Rivers Edge. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Course is not overly challenging but suited us well (my wife and and I are seniors) but there are a number of strategically placed bunkers and trees that we seemed to find. It was also ideal length - par 5's not horrendously long. Worth the 30 minute drive from Laughlin.
Good for beginners or experienced
Our foursome had a great day. Greens are slow but expected for this time of year, they will be good in a couple of weeks. The rough is long and if you hit into it watch close the ball can hide. Price is great with Golf Now booking.
the course is normally real nice
It will be better when the greens are cut down otherwise we enjoy this course.
Enjoyable round
Our foursome was surprised at how nice the course condition was, considering the extended hot and dry weather that we have had.
Course was in HORRIBLE shape
Course was in horrible shape. We booked the tee time online , and there was no mention of temporary greens and that the rate was for 9 holes not 18.
Good for a muni
Fairways are wide but look out for balls from adjacent fairways. Greens were slow but okay. Traps had too little sand and too many rocks. Clubhouse has seen better days. Excellent breakfast burritos there. There is a range and a green for pitching practice as well as a separate large putting green. Cost only $22 to walk the flat course where there green-to-teebox distances are short. It is always less windy here than at the courses across the river, i.e. El Rio, Loas Lagos, Huukan, and Laughlin Ranch.
