The pace of play
Pace of play was so incredibly slow. Worst I’ve seen it there. Also numerous fairways had bare patches in them
Good, Challenging Course
Despite 2 weeks of drought conditions, and then heavy storms, the course was in surprisingly good condition. The tee boxes and greens were very good, though people need to replace their pitch marks.
At times the ground was like concrete but otherwise course was in good shape.
Lincoln Greens
Some bad spots on the fairways (we just move our ball slightly if needed). Sand traps are being worked on and need it. Overall this is a fun course. Staff is great and good golf carts. We will play there again.
Typical Fall Conditions
I have played this course a few times over the past couple years, and course conditions continue to improve. On my most recent visit on a warm, sunny November day, I was a little disappointed to see that all of the tee markers had been removed. Probably a little early to do that. Also, too many of the greens were covered with leaves. Periodic attention to the leaves would have made for a better experience. Still, it is a decent course at a decent price.
Lincoln Greens
The gentlemen in the clubhouse are always friendly. The course was good in shape. Pace of play was great.
Very good course.
Overall the course is in good shape. A few bad spots in the fairways but to be expected after all of the rain , heat and humidity we’ve had. Greens are in great shape. Looking forward to playing it again.
This course was very long and tough for a 78 year old lady. When are courses going to put in senior tee boxes for a game we all love and struggle to get a decent score? The fairways and rough needed mowing, but I still love the course. I’m not ready to retire my clubs! I took my 13 year old granddaughter to play a practice round for an event she will be playing on September 7. She has never been to this course, played the ball down and shot 105. She’s awesome and will only get better as she ages. Watch out for her!!
