About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Very good
Given the amount of rain over the past few weeks, the course was in very good shape. Some of the bunkers were washed out, but overall it was a very enjoyable day. I will definitely play here again.
excellent
A very nice, sell maintained course in a beautiful setting. As has been true the 10 years I have been playing there the staff is very friendly and efficient.
The fairways and greens in very good shape for the time of year.
Enjoyable course, well maintained, not too difficult but some holes require well placed shots.
Great Course Slow Play
The course was pretty full on this day. The Rangers were out early keeping things moving along. They left around 1 and things ground to a slow march. There was a outing of some sort that the more they drank the slower golf became and no one was there to keep them under control.
A tale of two nines
This course has a more open front nine with a variation of holes. The fairways are wide and even the holes that appear to have narrow tee shots really widen in the landing areas. The back nine puts a higher demand on accuracy off the tee. For the record, I hate the 17th hole, a short par 5 that forces you to hit a cut off a hook tee box and layup short of a creek. Why not cut down the inside trees and bring the risk versus reward into play on a late hole? PC is a fun but not too difficult course. I shot 74 against a five handicap.
Awesome scenery and well maintained!
I really enjoyed Pine Creek on my 1st visit there. I would have to say I now have a new favorite course. The greens were in great shape. The scenery was awesome. The entire course was well maintained. I will definitely go back again and again.
Pinecreek with friends in from Florida.
I had friends in from Florida who were up for a Conference. While we got soaked on a couple of holes, the course was in good condition and nice to play. Even before the rain arrived we all noticed that the greens were playing very slow in comparison to the greens at Henry Horton which we had played the day before.
Great course and great value.
The course is challenging yet fair as tee to green the course is well maintained and provides plenty of room for error. Some holes are tighter than others, but all provide a fair challenge to all levels of player.
Greens nice, rest of course in poor shape!
course not even worth the $40.00 price tag obtained by going through golf-now. Certainly not worth $52.00 full price! If you want to play this course, call about the early bird specials! Then it's worth the $$.
The course played really well under the conditions.
While it was cart path only do to poor drainage, the course was set up well and in good condition. The drawbacks were the lack of a starter or a marshal to help speed up the crowded conditions. There was no regulating the first tee which leads to bottlenecks and slow play...the only problem i have had here but it is the continual problem.
Greens are in great shape!
I have played here a few times. It is always in better shape than the last time I played there. The staff is super friendly!
Worth the drive!
This was my first time to play this course and I had a blast. I was worried during the 45 minute drive to the course that I would be disappointed. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It had poured down rain over the weekend, and while the course was wet, it was in fantastic shape all things considered. If you want to play a challenging yet forgiving course that's tucked away in the woods then Pine Creek is the place to play. Thanks Golfnow.com. Without the amazing rate I got from booking through your site I may never have made the drive out to visit this awesome course.
course shape
greens are in good shape, still waiting on fairways to come in
This course has a nice mix of easy and challenging holes.
I played this course after an overnight heavy rain. The condition was good even with some soft spots. This course is a score-able course with the mix of holes. Par 3's are challenging. There was a stiff wind when I played that made the Par 5's more difficult for me as a short hitter.
The clubhouse is beautiful and the facility was well maintained.
Wet Day!
Course is great, it had rained the night before so course was wet when we played. Always a good place to play, course is fun and challenging for the average player. Will be going again very soon.
Good beginners course.
Fairly flat layout with little water in play. This course sees a lot of action from beginners and high handicappers, so it takes a beating. Slow play is the rule, but folks are friendly. Bring the ladies and enjoy a social outing.
