Some bad tee boxes and awful sand traps
Don't get me wrong, the course is nice and I had a great time there. But a handful of the tee boxes were in poor shape (mud, no grass) and the sand traps were ridiculous (full of rocks and pine cones). There was also a pretty decent sized hole on one of the greens too.
I will definitely go back. The carts were nice, staff was friendly, not a lot of water hazards. Wish the bar and grill had been open but I guess it's a little early in the year.
Interesting track
The course was fine but due to refurbishing cart paths we had to play back nine twice. Tee blocks were good, fairways thin but good, greens excellent, bunkers a tad poor. We will return.
Nice layout!
Love the layout of this course!! It is very long and it is also a challenge! Greens and fairways are very nice, but can really use some work on the tee boxes. Overall I would give it a 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great Greens But no Straight Putts
The greens were in great shape but i wish they had some straight putts . Every putt was a curved hole placement and tricky going away from the hole. The sand traps need much work.
Decent course
The course was not in the greatest condition. Was far better when private before Casino took over. Surprising. Usually the reverse. Facilities better; course condition significantly worse.
Really nice corse
Everything was great except too many grass clippings on course. Very hard to find your ball even on fairways.
Tight and challenging
Great people great course ... conditions aren't always the best here. 3rd green has been suspect for 25 years. Enjoyed our round.
Hilly Course with Great Scenery
Course has several big elevation changes between sections of the course which create some interesting downhill and uphill holes. The views of the surrounding area are quite scenic during the fall. I recommend the course if in the area.
Not what it used to be.
Fairways were not mowed, greens are in terrible shape and didn’t hold their lines. Place has fallen off quite a bit in the last few years.
Enjoyed my round. Would play it again.
Heavy clover on the first couple of holes. Greens putted well and were good sized.It was Monday so the amenities were closed. Pro was very accommodating and polite.Turtlebacks were challenging but fair.
Wonderful course

Course was in great condition for 2 days straight of rain, great carts and staff. Challenging course.
Roller Coaster
Playing this course was like being on a roller coaster ride. I’ve played many mountain courses but this was ridiculous. To see it is to believe it. I talking like 100-150 ft drops and inclines. Fairway was a bit burnt up, but I have to give credit to the green keeper. Their greens were flawless. Good pace abs they rolled true. My only other gripe was the over hanging trees in the fairway. Great drives shouldn’t be hindered by over hanging limbs. Don’t get me wrong, I know I may sound a bit whinny ; but I’m a 5 handicapper who shot 78 that day . The average golfer would not be able to maneuver . See pic
Fast greens
Greens pretty punishing. Very fast and hard to get stuff to stick. Great course though.
