Greens Aieration
Although the greens were under Aieration, they were in good shape. The necessary evil. The reward will come. They are improving the course. There is fresh sod in area around the course. The fairways are in great shape. Fun course
6 hour round for 13 holes of golf.
Their was a tournament earlier the day I was out there and they left tee times open for right after the tournament was “supposed to end” yet it was a mess and tee times were backed up 25 min. At one point on hole 3 there was 5 groups on 1 hole. Will not be going back here till I know they have fixed pace of play and for the price of 70$ they will never get that from me. You can pay 50$ more and go play Gaylord and a hand full of guest fees at nicer private courses. Way over priced for the location too.
Fair challenge but not over the top
I thought this course was a lot of fun to play. The greens were really great, almost perfect. Tee boxes were in rough shape but because they're easy to adjust they were manageable. Lots of variance in holes, good time.
Indian Hills Golf
Course was in good condition and greens here receptive. Some tee boxes were beat up and got done in 4 hrs.
The scorecard shows par 4 on 17 even though it's a par 5.
Great value for the dollar.
Great price. The staff was very friendly. The Greens and fairways were great shape considering they have had a lot of rain. Much better than others courses in the area.
Course in good condition
Course is in good shape and greens were rolling nice today. I went a year without playing here bc of conditions. But it’s improved quite a bit. In value I think it’s a tad bit overpriced but not too terrible.
Good, but....
As this course has holes that are showcases along a major roadway with nice looking homes lining it, I would have thought the course would be more lush & manicured. Many fairways were surprisingly brown, perhaps dormant? I guess I thought being in a warmer weather state that the grass would have greened up by late April. A number of tee boxes were nearly barren and were muddy. Greens were ok. Some holes had more than 1 green and my GPS didn't know which was in play. Course is perhaps a 3.5 out of 5. Not terrible, but not particularly noteworthy.
Disappointed and Overpriced – Not Worth the Trip
Booked a 3:00 PM tee time around 7:25 AM the same day to play 18 with a friend visiting from out of town. We made the hour-long drive expecting a solid afternoon of golf. Instead, we were greeted upon arrival with: “Could I convince you guys to play just 9? We’re at a 5+ hour pace right now…”
If the pace of play is already that slow, how about a phone call or at least a heads-up before we commit to making the trip? You had our number for nearly 8 hours before our tee time—plenty of time to let us know the course was crawling. That kind of heads-up would’ve allowed us to adjust plans and play closer to home.
Customer service aside, the course simply isn’t worth the premium price tag. Conditions and layout don’t come close to justifying the cost. Between the slow play, poor communication, and overpriced experience, it’s not somewhere I’ll be returning—or recommending.
