Nashboro Golf Club sits just outside of Nashville's city center, and offers good times and good tests.
Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.

Better than last year
To begin with I just want to say the pro shop staff were very pleasant and made me feel like they valued our foursome. We teed off at 2:00 ish and finished at 6:15, squeezing in all 18 before twilight.
The course still suffers some drainage issues but I saw a marked improvement over last year. The course is fun in a cart but I don’t recommend walking - long layout and a few hills. A better challenge than a lot of courses in middle TN for the same or more $$$.
Will definitely return.

Lacking amenities
Had a nearly two hour frost delay, which is fine. For $60 a round after tax, it would be nice if there was a driving range or chipping area or something. Small putting green with no cups only allows for a few people.
After standing around for an hour fifty minutes, pace of play was much better than expected. The group in front of us flew through and we didn’t spend nearly any time waiting at tee boxes after #1. The course overall was in great condition.
This is a nice course, however for the price, you are better suited to go to other courses with more amenities to offer for practice/warmup/ etc.

Way better courses close by
Greens were inconsistent. Some were at Mach 5 then some slow rolling. Everyone was nice enough but I’d never come back. Tee boxes aren’t well kept and super uneven. Layout was cool though.

Good course, staff not excited about my HotDeal
Good course. Layout, holes had personality and were challenging but fair.
Course had a local outing the day I played. When I went to check in, the starter / young man behind the register told me he’d get me out as soon as the outing went out. When he heard I already paid through GolfNow, he said I’d have to wait until actual tee time, even though there was no one ahead of me for 90 minutes. Unfortunately, the driving range was closed due to construction. I had an extra cup of coffee and read the paper.
I did enjoy the course. Would have been nice not to wait around.

Great day at Nashboro
Started off with frost delay (not unusual this time of year). Staff got us moving quickly and once on course pace was great. Damp due to rain previously so cart path only. Greens OK for time of year. Has simulator (pay $) but nice if you wanted to drop by during inclement weather. Will be back.
