Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.

Course was in great shape
Played there after a bad storm so it was in rough shape. Went back today and the course was awesome! Greens were near perfect. Job well done by the crew

The staff is absolutely terrible. Rude, unprofessional, and threatening members of our group. If any other options, I would recommend another course.

Staff
Unquestionably the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered at a golf course or any customer service business for that matter. While trying to small talk upon my arrival I actually went out of my way to compliment the guys hat and was completely ignored and it only got worse from there. Just play anywhere else it’s not worth dealing with them. I’ve tried this place a handful of times in hopes it’s gotten better but it certainly hasn’t.

Terrible staff
This course is terrible. ALL the metro courses are better courses. Greens have big patches of sand etc. The staff is rude and the service is garbage. Play anywhere else in Nashville!!!!!

Threatened and Followed by Staff
My wife and I showed up for our afternoon tee time, and was told upon arrival that we had been grouped with 3 other golfers that we did not know. As we got into our golf cart to begin, an employee yelled at us exclaiming that no riders were allowed due to Covid-19 and that I should have known because it's on the website. I tried explaining that I booked using Golf Now and that this rule is not on their website. He kept angrily insisting that it is, so we get out of the golf cart and I tossed the keys to another staff member who was also talking to us and he didn't catch them so they hit him. Then this staff member proceeded to swear profusely at me and my wife as we're leaving the course. He continues to follow us to our vehicle all while yelling and swearing and even threatens to punch me. Safe to say we won't be back.

The reviews discussing staff rudeness are true, 100%. I though they were just anecdotes, but I was unpleasantly surprised by how rude the staff at this cheap course is.
First, the course is in extremely bad condition even for courses during COVID. The layout isnt bad but this course is below most municipal courses in my view in Nashville. But we're not talking about an elite course or experience, as you're playing amidst apartment buildings the whole time and each hole also has frisbee golf.
Second, the staff doesnt realize their course is trash and they might want to be nice to people. The only reason to play this course is when the others in the area are booked, period. So it makes very little sense for how my friend and I were treated for daring to have a beer we brought along with us. Literally one. At seeing our 2 bottles once we finished, we were told to never come back. And I'm serious, that was the extent of anything this place could gripe about. Mind you, residents of the apartments were walking out onto the course during play, there was trash on the course in addition to just poor conditions, and the clubhouse is in need of significant upgrades. It also has a musty smell they'd do well to get rid of.
I include all this to say, this place isnt the Ritz Carlton and they'd do well to remember it. And to be clear, the staff chose a potential $10 in beer purchases (which they weren't selling anyway because it was Sunday; hence why we brought instead of bought for our 8:30am tee time) over $70 in green fees/price to book a tee time.
That's just stupid.
Moreover, it's unclear why the staff wouldn't just say, "Hey guys, we dont allow outside drinks. Please buy them next time or we'll have to charge you next time." Anything else than what they did, which is rude and makes little business sense.
After being so rudely treated over 2 beers after we finished our round, I told the staff they certainly will never have to worry about me or my friends returning.
I wont play again until there's new ownership, which likely will be soon based on how poor everything looks at this crap of a course.
Don't play here if you can help it. There are other courses where people treat you with respect and class.
A new go to course
First time playing here due to reading such mixed reviews. I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. $35 hot deal turned into a good decision. We were greeted when checking in and were explained all the quarantine rules. Manager even threw in 4 free course guides since none of us had played there before. Fairways had been recently aerated so there was dried mud everywhere, but not a huge issue. Greens were in great shape and putted true. Nice layout, we will definitely be back.

Poor Customer Service
I typically don’t write reviews, but I have to say this is probably one of the least enjoyable courses I’ve ever played. The older gentleman working the front desk was very rude and condescending from the time we walked in. He was condescending towards my brother and I for wanting to pay individually for each of our rounds, saying “are you kidding me?”. We’re both students, so it can get expensive to pay for another person. He also insisted on talking down to both of us as if we were small children. Once in the course, there is only what I can assume to be a course ranger rolling around with large barking dog the entire time you play. The course was fine, but overall had the sense that we were infiltrating a good old boys club and that our presence was unwelcome. The same front desk associate was very pleasant towards his friends at the course. All I can say is that if you’re younger and want a relaxing game of golf, don’t play at this course.

Tee time issues
We booked our tee time for 11:10am and when we arrived we had to wait for carts. We didn’t tee off until after 12pm and then we were rushed on our holes and told by staff to allow multipl people to play through. Had we had our initial tee time, our game wouldn’t have been rushed.

Satff
Dude behind the register was rude. During Covid times he asked that I used his cooler for drinks ( water) and he told me to use there cooler or I could get my refund. To top that he said we would see a cart server out and not once in 18 holes! No water cooler, no beverage cart, No to your own water get a grip, I know times are tough but the golf courses are packed. Couple water btls in a personal sanitized cooler to much to ask for?

All the reviews saying the staff is rude are completely right. If you hate your job that much, just quit already.
Putting green is closed off to prevent “congregating” but we passed through 12 boomers congregated outside the pro shop (next to the closed putting green) smoking cigars and going on like there isn’t a pandemic going on.
Course is fine. Greens are good. Staff will prevent me from ever going back.

Excellent Greens
Staff very friendly and accommodating during these times of turmoil.
Course was in pretty good condition considering the amount of rain week after week. Greens were excellent, a tad slower than they looked but above or pin high on these greens are still brutal.
Work still going on around the course, but nothing that interferes the field of play.
Will definitely be back!!

Good Course Value
Good value $25 hot rate really neat layout challenging but with scoring opportunities. Very wet from all the rain mud everywhere. Greens in very good condition but rolling very slow the slowest greens I have played in a long time.
