Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.

could be better
The greens were tough as always but the fairways were horrible. At times would be in the middle of the fairway hitting of hard packed dirt.
Staff stalk you
There was a group of 6, 2 groups in front of us. After a few holes the pace started slowing down. We were almost done with the first 9 when the beverage lady came around She said that our group ended up getting behind just a little and was very nice about it. So we picked up the pace and ended up right behind the next group on the next hole and the group behind us was no where in sight. We were maintaining that pace when this guy on staff started hovering over us, following us down the hole. Then he came over and said we needed to speed up because there was whole hole open. We looked over there and there was still group on next hole. The guy continued to follow us around all the way until the 18th hole. I don't appreciate his attitude and stalking us through the last 5 holes. It was completely unnecessary since we were in fact NOT behind at all. I will not be returning to this. We paid money just like everybody else and did not deserve to be treated this way.
Sorry that you had a poor experience at Nashboro. We do try and keep every group under 4.5 hours and the marshals are a huge part. If they determine that a group is behind our set pace of play they will as you to speed up.
Not a good course.
Not maintained well. Poor restroom facilities. Driving range off mats.
We were hitting off mats at that time. It was early April and the Bermuda grass had not started growing yet.
great course
It's not quite May but greens are true and fast. This course is a gem. Not too hard to book a time. Decent lay out. Full bar. I would rate it top 5 in nashville.
Great local course.
The course was in good condition this early in the spring. Staff was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. The pace of play was consistent with 4.25-4.5 hours after unfortunately the log jam that set us back about 30 minutes.
Overepriced
Fairway grass was still dormant. Greens in good condition. I felt $45 for 18 with cart was excessive. Poor yardage markings in the fairways. Other comparable courses going for around $30.
SOOO SLOW!
I really like the layout of this course but the pace of play is ALWAYS terrible. The course needs to relax on the number of tee times booked. Also, for $50 you can find nicer courses in the area.
Good value
Played Nashboro on a cool, blustery day and enjoyed the course a lot. The greens were fast and in good shape. Fairways still haven't greened up but can't wait to play it in better weather!

Course in really good shape, play moved along at a good pace. Greens rolled great and pretty fast. Good course to play, will go back.
Course has a very good layout.
Course is very playable and in overall very good shape. Greens are very good, perhaps a little slow. Course is much improved over a couple of years ago.
greens were slick and hard to hold
very friendly staff. A lot of traffic with maint.>dragging in sand on greens etc. Stop and go alot waiting on them
Good layout and greens
Good layout with mini verde greens and good bunkers.
Good layout. Coarse and facilities need attention.
This coarse has an excellent layout. However, the condition of the coarse is suspect. We were told that it had been let go somewhat and the new owners were attempting to "bring it back". And, to be honest it appeared that way. However, it you are looking for a pristine, well maintained coarse, this is not the one for you. The staff in the clubhouse was rude. However, the staff in the grill/bar area made up for the rudeness in the pro shop. They were very informative and accommadating.
Not worth a trip!
Very disappointed after a 45 minute drive. The course was ok as far as maintenance goes but could use work. The greens were firm and fast but at the expense of making shots almost impossible to stop. I hit a high ball that spins a lot ANSI never had a ball mark to fix even on 150 yd shots. If I lived two seconds away I'd play it but if I had to drive more than 10 minutes I'd play somewhere else. Also a foursome had 4 groupswaiting on tee boxes and no Marshall ever came out to even check pace of play we just skipped a couple holes on the front and went to the back nine.
If you show up more than 2 minutes before your tee time you can hit your bucket of balls. The greens hold fine if you hit a solid shot into them. I have seen balls back up on a regular basis out here. Mini Verde is not a bent grass and is a firmer surface. The staff is always friendly as well. The day you played there were 150 golfers on the course and you played in 4 hours and 15 minutes.
Also there was no price discount on golf now it was the regular price. And we were supposed to get a small bucket included and we were never received that either.
Glad I tried it again
I played Nashboro in 2011 and it was in terrible shape. The greens were all dead, the rough was crazy tall, the tee boxes and fairways were dry and needed attention.
I heard things had improved so wanted to try it again because the course layout is nice and challenging. I was very happy with my experience. The greens are awesome, everything was mowed nicely and it has been watered regularly so the fairways and tee boxes are in great shape.
The staff was super nice and they had a beverage cart which was needed since it was a little hot and needed to stay hydrated.
The front nine was slow 2:40 time to play because of a very slow playing foursome in front of us. They quit after 9 holes and we played the back nine in 2 hours. A ranger could have helped this out but we were just relaxing anyway.
Big improvement over past seasons.
The new ownership has done a great job of making this a first rate course to play. Keep up the good work. Great value for he money.
Course is in good condition overall
Overall I was impressed with the condition of the course. The new owners did a gret job with the new greens. This is the main reason i stopped paying the course about 3 years ago.
The greens are fast and rolled true. Its important to keep the ball
Below the whole or its easy to three put. The ruff was not as thick and penalizing as the previous time I played about 3 weeks ago. This s a tight course and accuracy off the tee is a must to score well. I will defiantly pay this course
again in the near future.
Friendly staff.....
The new greens (1 yr) are great!! Not a weed on any. Fairways were really nice, too. Rough was a little bumpy, but that's to be expected when a place has been there this long and the rains they've had.
Overall, nice track. Played with 3 strangers, and they were great!!!

course is in good shape. well worth the $25. the fair weather has let the greens stay in good shape
We are working on a few areas but the fairways have grown back in a ton. Please come out and try it again.
