Nashboro Golf Club

About
Nashboro Golf Club sits just outside of Nashville's city center, and offers good times and good tests.
Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.
After - or before or both - a round of golf at Nashboro Golf Club, grab a round in the clubhouse's full-service bar and grill, which offers a casual vibe.

Cart path only
Too often this course has cart path only restriction for no apparent reason. Course was dry. Made pace of play longer by 30 minutes at least.
A fun challenge
Played the noon tee time today. Pros: shot maker course requires a bit more thinking than other courses around…quick greens with a lot of movement…no two holes are similar…good pro shop with food and beverage…good value compared to similar courses nearby
Cons:no driving range…a few rough spots around the course but not too bad…carts occasionally need a reset when close to greens or tee boxes
Always a fun challenge that keeps me coming back!
Nashboro
Great day for golfing, sunny day. Course is in nice shape, very different elevation which are challenging. Not used to the humidity but was tolerable. No practice range. Played behind the senior outing which made play slow.
Ok, Nothing Special
- ok layout
- on course washrooms “closed for the season” in June (?)
- there’s no range
- sort of muddyish conditions
- greens were good
- there was drinking water on the course
- wife left PW on course but told it wasn’t turned in
- very limited selections in pro shop
- seniors rate was only $40, and it was worth that
Nashboro adventure
Friendly staff person. We were paired with a nice young man. Front nine play was very slow due to a twosome in front of us, who were terrible players that hit several balls on every hole with no regard of how much waiting we had on each shot. Thankfully they quit after nine holes and play immediately got faster and more enjoyable. Sand traps were in terrible shape. Otherwise the course was great .
Good Course Overall
Decent course, no range or net to warm up in which always sucks. Course was a little wet and muddy from the weather recently but not a fault of the course here. However the greens were very inconsistent and some of the tee box placements were very questionable. Box 10 was all in mud, could have moved the box to a dryer area for the day.
TERRIBLE SERVICE
I have had nothing but bad issues with this golf course. Had a tee time a couple weeks ago and they randomly canceled it without saying a word to me and I was still charged for it then accidentally made a reservation for here when I tried to make one for another course and was charged the FULL amount for this tee time so I guess when they cancel a tee time it’s fine but not when I try to do it
Fair for the visit.
Course was wet so cart path only which really sucks. Greens were fast and slow depending on the hole. Fun course overall. Came in from Mesa, AZ and played a quick round. Worth the money just ahhh cart path.
Decent Course
Pace of play was a little slow greens were just recently sanded but overall a good round courtship was decent in my opinion, confusing on rules for carts but overall a nice round
GPS Golf Carts w/ Path Only
We played a Friday and it was cart path only. The course received 2 1/2 the day prior. The course was in good shape for the amount of water it received. My issue is the the GPS golf carts would shut down stating we were off the cart path, which we were not. They would even shut off at the tee boxes. We ended up having to drive in reverse the last 3 holes. We talked with 2 groups in front of at the end of the round and they all had similar issues. So I would not play again if it was cart path only having to deal with the cart issues until they are resolved.
At the right price it’s worth it. Fun course layout. Course in ok shape. Greens in decent shape, bunkers need some TLC. Don’t expect a private country club and you should enjoy it.
Fun course for a out of state visitor
The course was cart path only when i played but it didn’t take away much of the experience for me because i tend to walk anyways. There was a lot rain earlier in the week and I thought the course was in pretty good shape following the weather.
The staff was friendly. Definitely would recommend

Do Not Play
What a waste of money. Go down the road for better. Course is in a horrible area and the conditions are awful. This course should be $20 not $70. Come here if you’re learning or hate money.
Better course for the $
I’m new to the area and trying all the courses out there. I will not return to this one.
