Many greens are in bad shape. Depending on the type of grass, so are some fairways and there is a significant amount of crabgrass.

They're starting to get the greens back again and the fairways still going to take time but still enjoyed the round of golf

A great day of golf. 1st 9 was slow because of the group in front of us, but they stopped at the clubhouse on the turn and we never looked back or forward. Greens definatly need some attention. Food and drinks in the clubhouse was great.

Patriots Glen has a very good, challenging layout.

However, 17 of the greens were in awful condition – green dirt patches and hairy grass.

Worst conditions for a course that I have ever played!!! Garrisons lake and the old Brantwood were better than this place. Greens are HORRIBLE!! Tee boxes suck and the fairways have crab grass all over them. If you have to pay anymore than $30 do not play!!! The driving range is closed and has been for over 2 years. No excuse for that. Pace of play was horrible as well.

Absolute worst fairways and greens I have ever played. Course has gone completely down hill and back to the conditions of the previous owners. Focus should shift to the course and not the tavern. Are they a golf course or a bar? Sadly, we golfed the Dover Par 3 today and the conditions there were significantly better.

Nice layout and played in just under 4 hours and starter was very friendly. I like the layout, but the course conditions were poor. A lot of heat damage on the greens and fairways. Also an issue with crabgrass. I have seen this happen to other courses and they back to normal the following year, so I will be back.

One thing that I request is pro shop stock Gatorade Zero or Powerade Zero for the diabetic golfers.

I don’t know who the groundskeeper is but there was crabgrass in almost all the fairways and some of the greens were unputtable.

Played this course yesterday and noticed most greens have some kind of water mud burnout. Will not lay again this year. Layout is fun.

I am also not a fan of allowing none golfers to walk the course as golfers hit balls ,This seems to be permitted on this course. Some golfers have a companion walking the course ,

Also people are jogging and walking dogs on the cart paths .

Everything was great except the grass on the fairways and greens was burnt out in spots.

I've golfed Patriot's Glen for many years, and through many ownership/management changes. I've seen the highs (it's a great layout and used to be in pristine condition), I've seen the lows, last year I started to see a resurgence, but last week I saw a course that may take 1-2 years to get back to anything decent (if it ever does).

Planned a round for someone’s birthday. The greens were the wurst greens I have ever played in my life. Golfing for 60 years! There was more bare dirt than there was grass on every green but two of them.

Course went from a pasture with little grass to a much better conditioned course back to a cow pasture. Greens (except maybe 4/5 were basically dirt/mud. Most tee boxes were bad. Fairways were so so. It’s a shame that this great layout is wasted. I’ll try next year to see if they have learned how to maintain a golf course. I play most of the courses in a 50 mile radius and none of them are in this shape. They regressed back to a $25 golf course. I’m truly disappointed. Still no driving range…. High note, excellent clubhouse and food. Best lobster roll sandwich south of Maine!!

The price they charge now isn’t worth it. The greens are essentially concrete all the time. The pace of play and the greens make it not worth 70 dollars. Range was supposed to be finished ages ago and is no where near even started yet.
