About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

Rough Shape
The course is in the worst shape I have ever seen it. The fairways were not only divit chewed up, but huge tire ruts with standing water/mud. The greens are not in good shape. If I had paid more than $35, I would have felt ripped off.
Inniscrone
First time playing this course and overall I had a good experience. The course was in good condition except for the bunkers and some fairways had water issues people messing it up with carts. The greens were tough for me because it was aerated and had some sand in it, but not bad overall. I would like to play this course when it is completely dry.
Nice course
The course had a lot of rain the day before and it was very muddy everywhere and water in the bunkers etc. Overall a nice course and generally well looked after. The greens were aerated and were therefore a bit more challenging with the sand on the greens.
Greens are full of sand...there is more sand on these greens than on Rehoboth beach...awful
Great value for the money. Course is in good condition despite the heat and rain this summer
Average Local Track
Fun little course. Conditions were ok. Tee boxes beat up. Doing maintenance multiple spots around the course. Not bad for price.
Course is in rough shape
Course is in very rough shape. Many large mud spots on fairways with no grass. Some of the tee boxes have no grass at all on them.
Very slow pace. Got stuck waiting at each hole with three other groups. Never finished 18.
Needs a lot of work
I traveled an hour for this one! First, it’s in the middle of nowhere.. the staff are fabulous, the course layout is challenging, but u can see the neglect this course has endured. Tee boxes and greens are damaged. The smell in the air on the back 9, was brutal. I guess the course has potential, but I can’t invision it prospering. Good luck, I hope you preserve!
