Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Very slow play
Lots of non golfers. No ranger keeping pace of play. Greens filled with green sand to cover bare spots. Golfers swearing at other players trying to play through as they spend 20 minutes looking for lost balls. No amenities. Cannot believe this is titled “country club”.
What a fun round of golf!
This is my first time playing Myerlee. I chose to play there because I haven't played in quite a while, so an executive course sounded like a good way to get back into it. First, it's a very laid back atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely not your stuffy, rigid country club.
I was paired up with a twosome and another single and they were very friendly and great to play with. None of us were great players but we managed to get around the course and have a good time. Since I was hitting 7 and 9 irons off most of the tees, that was right in my wheelhouse and helped me relax. Even on the holes when I teed off with driver or a 5 wood, the fairways were open and missing the fairways was a minor penalty.
If you're looking for a course that is a quick round and fun to play this is a great option. I'll definitely be back as soon as I have time.
Fun little course
Nice mix of mainly par 3’s
Tee boxes need work, greens were consistently slow
Fun for the money
Staff very friendly
In need of some tlc
Pin cups hadn’t been changed in days . Greens not cut and very rough! In need of a drink and some grooming to say the least! This time of year corses take a beating however they are getting good money and hoping they try and take better care of their course
Not worth the money
Tee boxes were in terrible shape( pace of play was extremely slow. Talent level of golfers around was very poor. Not worth the money
Needs work
Slow play is the biggest problem. Afternoon tee times not guaranteed 18 holes. Condition of the course could use much improvement.
Course gets only a Fair
This is an executive course with full course prices. "okay" layout but waiting time was unacceptable. the course itself was in fair condition at best.
Up date
Pro shop and restaurant area needs to be up dated very badly. Staff was very nice course played great for a par three had a great time thanks.
Fun course
Wife and I had a great time! Greens are in great condition.
Nice executive course
Open fairways. I'm not a fan of tight lies in the fairways, short grass, but you adapt where you choose to play. The greens seems to not hold, maybe a little hard. Will remember that for next weeks round.
Nice little executive course
Not a fan of tight lie fairways. But you adapt and enjoy the sunshine. Green were maybe a little hard to hold and fast which I'm used to. Would play the course again!
Good value,lots of wildlife
Saw alligator and lots of turtles.A baby squirrel came right up to our cart.got paired up with a really nice couple and had a great time..I pared 2 holes for the first time! Popular and inexpensive. So during busy season expect to be paired up.
Get what you pay for
This course is not a bad value as we only paid $42 each in the high season. But the tee boxes and greens were in relatively poor condition. Busy day so pace of play was a little slow....took almost 4 hours and on an executive course that is too long. Staff was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed the round as our expectations were not high and we wanted to work on our short game.
