Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Fun coarse
Their very good at pairing 4somes
My wife and I play together and it's a great way to meet other golfers
Fun Course
Course was busy. Along with a a few other golfers we had to wait for a cart. But Starter was well organized and we got off on our original tee time. Once we got past the few 2 holes everyone found there place and pace of play was fine.
This is one of my favourite courses to play in Fort Myers area.
Executive Golf Course
All was good. A little slow but overall we enjoyed the course
Greens were in great condition
First time and greens were great only issue was a slow moving foursome ahead of us
Nice if you just want to get in some swings
We were traveling and wanted to get in some swings at an executive course. The conditions weren’t great but it was nice to play. We were paired with a friendly gentleman and the course staff was very friendly and helpful. My son and I tied for the round and the attendant heard us mention that fact. He let us play hole 1 as a playoff hole since it wasn’t busy. As northerners often do, we just enjoyed playing a round of golf in the sun.
Good practice
Great course to sharpen your par 3 strength. One negative was that the course staff pushed back on me hard when I wanted a cart to myself. We are in a pandemic and they want me to share a cart with a stranger as a single player. No thanks. No ranger to enforce pace of play. First 9 took over 2 hours. Thankfully that group stopped off after 9 and we finished the back 9 in 80 minutes.
Nice short course
Not a bad executive course. It’s a great place to work on your short irons. Having elevated greens makes it a little more challenging but fun. Needs work, but for the money and pace of play it’s one of my go to courses.
