Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Fun find for new course to try out!
Little bit of a drive for us, ut we love to try new courses, and this was a good find, found on golf now!
The staff was very nice, and we got 18 in, under 4 hours!! Good layout, with longer challenging par 3s and fun par 4s to pull out the driver!
Will be back, especially if I happen to be on this side of town!
Fun short course
Fun, reasonably priced no pressure spot to improve your short game. Couple fun confidence boosters over water, not snooty just overall enjoyable place to play a quick 18:
You get what you pay for
Course was in fair shape and it was slow but you get what you pay for. My expectations were low and it met my expectations Don’t expect anything more and you will not be disappointed
Tired
You book too many tee times. Should not take 2 1/2 hrs to play 9 holes on an executive course. Otherwise staff and course is. Very nice
Great little course
I liked this course. Everything was in great shape tee's fairways and greens. My only complaint was we were probably third or fourth group to go out and we waited at each hole probably 10 minutes at least. It took four and half hours to play. IF it know one was in front of us I would say you could play this course in two hours. I would play again I would only want to take the first tee or afternoon tee if empty. If you don't mind waiting it's an affordable course 30 minutes from the beach. I really enjoyed whiskey creek nearby got around 18 in just over 2 hours. and El Rio was good and got around in 2 and half hours. The pro shop was super friendly and a young guy who got us our cart and started us was very nice. If I had known I would have skipped to hole 4 and been out of there in under two hours to get back to work.
friendly staff enough water and sand traps to make it interesting.
Worth every bit of 23 bucks
Typically you get what you pay for under 25 but this course is good enough. Tee boxes, fairways, roughs, and most greens all taken care of and decent. Good scenery, good water, nice sand, open. Would play again
