Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

The greens were not good. It appeared that they had just been fertilized Staff person was great and everything else was good. .
Great for the average golfer
If you’re a good golfer, you’re probably not going to like this course. It’s really short. You barely touch your driver. The greens are in rough shape too, BUT for $30 a player, if you’re an average Joe or a beginner like me, this is a good course for you.
Nice course to work on short game
1st time to play at this course; very pleased with staff, course layout and friendliness of other golfers. Challenging course design to help with par 3s and under 200 yrds. Would play here again.
Short Game
This course is great for working on your short game, it's quite challenging. Each hole is different than the one before so you don't get bored playing. Watch out for the fire ants they are everywhere.
Wet
Rained all night and course was open. Standing water everywhere including the sand bunkers. Started raining after we played a few holes so quit. No rain check given cause it was booked through Golfnow. Won’t play again
Sunday game with wife
For a short course has a nice layout. The greens are a little slow but it’s a good value for the money
Conditions
Tees and greens in terrible shape. This course overall needs a groundskeeper/ crew to get working
Great pace of play
Great relaxing day on the course. Wonderful weather, fairways were good, some of the greens needed a little work. Overall a fun day.
Good for a Snow Bird to warm up!
Good course to warm up on after 6 weeks of no golf up north. Greens were VERY slow, bumpy, and damaged / just dirt in some areas on 2 or 3 holes. Fairways nice, but it's an exectuive style course and a good golfer shouldnt be there! LOL
