Great shape given rains
Played Beaver Creek today, four days after almost a week of heavy rain. Course was in very good shape given all the recent rain. It was 90 degree rules but don’t know why, lots of had dusty ground all over. Pace of play was slow but understandable given a walking foursome and an elderly foursome back to back.
Played the day after a heavy rain. 90 degree rule, but course was in good shape. Never had a ball in unplayable wet conditions.
Nice course# good greens !
Played with my friend from my home course for a round out of town for us . 2 and a half hour drive for us = worth it for sure ! Greens fast and roll pure ! Overall the course in great shape ! I had only 10 putts on front nine / my putter on fire ! Wish our home course had greens like this - we both said . If you close to the Zachary area- its a must play for sure . People very very friendly at the pro shop and guys on the course= 2 thumbs up ! Great day to get away from our home course to see something different ! Will be back this summer !
This course was well maintained
The good reviews were right on. Course was well maintained.. They could use an upgrade on the Golf Carts..other than that I would highly recommend playing this course if you are in the Baton Rouge Area.
last resort
beaver is a last resort for a real nice quality golf experience around the baton rouge zachary area, many courses lose their greens but beavers are rolling great and course is in great shape right now.
Great Course
Although it might be a little bit of a drive from the city of Baton Rouge, Beaver Creek is one of if not the best public courses in Louisiana. It is a challenge for golfers of all skill levels and is very well kept. I would recommend it to anyone who comes here
Good burn bot great
Freeman have lots of weeds which is unusual for this course. Hope they get it figured out.
