Great greens
Course conditions are excellent. Greens roll great. Only problem is players not fixing ball marks and foot dragging the greens. Public golf.
Today the course was in excellent shape,even saw maintenance out working on the course bunkers.the staff are friendly and helpful as always.
Hidden Gem
I was finally able to get to the Baton Rouge area to play Beaver Creek.....and it was well worth it! The last time that I played a course with greens like this was at a private country club. Put it this way, I only putted 23 times! The greens roll as true as I’ve ever been around. Very good layout, with the back nine a little more difficult. We played the men’s tees at 6340, but probably should have tipped it out so we could have hit the driver more and avoid the well placed bunkers. The pro shop staff very friendly and the Marshall quite helpful too. Will be back very soon!!!!!
Great course
First time playing and most definitely won’t be our last. Best greens I have seen In Louisiana. Course conditions are FANTASTIC.
Excellent condition
Played Beaver Creek Wednesday and the course was in exceptional shape. Fairways cut low, rough was challenging, sand was soft and greens rolled true.
Pace of play
The threesome in front of us played extremely slow. I had to ask them to let us play through on the turn. They didn’t have any marshals out on the course. They were singles, five some and slower players.
The course is in excellent shape.
Great track!
My initial greeting in pro shop was less than I would have expected. However, I wasn’t there for the staff in the pro shop. The course was in great shape. Greens were outstanding. Not just for a muni. Anywhere! Don’t be afraid of the black tees if you are an above average golfer. It is a better course from back there.
Great course at a great price!
I played this course for the first time last week, and I absolutely love this place. A clear distinction between the fairway and rough, the fast and smooth greens, and the layout all stand out to me especially for the price. Definitely would play again.
Best shape ever
The course is the best shape I’ve seen it. The mowers could be a little less invasive when cutting, other than that it’s well worth it. Like I said the best shape I’ve seen it.
Very good layout
Course is in very good shape. The ruff is a little to high and thick for my liking! Fairways were in very good shape! Greens roll true but way to fast for my liking!

Played during a windy misty afternoon and the course held up great. The greens had good pace and very receptive. Good mix of doglegs and good course layout.
