Rough adds to course
Beaver Creek has always been a fairly forgiving course but they have developed roughs that increase the challenge. Now if you venture of the fairway you face new challenges and a less forgiving layout. Great improvement for course.

Overall good experience, greens in good shape fairways also greens guys were busy I like seeing that. Good Roll!
Challenge upgrade
Beaver Creek has always be kept in good shape for a public course and is in excellent shape now. The challenge that has been added is the rough. Beaver Creek has been a fairly forgiving course but the have developed a nice fairly deep in some areas rough. Great addition to the course.
Green issues
Course was in great shape except for the greens. Greens had just recently been punched and sanded, as a result very bouncy and untrue.
Good course, bad day
I love this course, it’s wide open but the hills and bunkers in the fairway make it a little challenging. I just. Pick the wrong day to go, it rains a lot the night before or something because only the front nine was open and some part was flooded. They just poked holes on the green for maintenance so the green was very slow and sandy. But other time I play here was super nice! Highly recommended to come back
Book on GOLFNOW for cheap otherwise a waste of time tbh
Solid course sometimes plays really well, have to hit it straight on the back. Greens inconsistent. Slow play
Best course around
This golf course is in immaculate shape not a single grass out of place the green roll perfect and true bunkers are strategically placed(I designed some of those bunkers worked there before it opened)...Santa Maria used to be Brecs best course,now it is Beaver Creek .....really the best course in Baton Rouge Zachary area.... really good course for mid to low handicappers,high handicappers I would get your game a little better before taking on this track because u can’t fake it around there u have to hit golf shots....if u live in BR and are contemplating playing the course make that ride it’s well worth it Trust me......
Beaver Creek at its best
Never seen this course in better condition. Greens were great but not crazy fast. Hope to go back soon.
