Beaver Blues
The restrooms should be immaculate. This is the main reason women do not return. Once they see bugs, cob webs, dirty seats, it’s a loser. I want to bring my wife out, but once she sees a spider, game over.
The course was in excellent as always the staff were helpful and grounds keepers friendly as well .our only complaint is the convenience fee for using golf now is too much $10.47 so I will not be using them again.We will book it ourselves and definitely be back to Beaver Creek
Great Shape!
Beaver Creek is the best municipal course in the greater Baton Rouge area in my opinion.
They were working on some drainage issues on the second hole so everyone had to start on #10 ,the staff were very helpful and friendly,it was a good day
California guest outing
The greens were fast and in great shape for anytime of the year. The fairways were equally as nice. Stay out of the soft rough because it hides the ball too good; stay on the short stuff. My guest from Oakland, Ca. loved the layout of the course. Hopefully the up coming rain will not a impact the course much.
Practice balls with a round of golf would be a nice addition.
Best place to play in the Baton Rouge area.
I recently moved back home about a year ago. I lived in Houston for 15 years. They day I pulled into this Course I smiled. For the first time since I moved back there was finally something of quality.
There are many championship golf courses in the Houston area. There might be 4 here, Beaver Creek is one of them.
It's not a difficult course by any stretch but it is properly maintained and the layout is wonderful.
I was truly depressed until I found it.
Great winter shape
The course was in great winter shape. The fairway and rough grass was brown due to freeze but greens in really good shape. Greens rolled true and sand traps in great shape.

Fairways and greens
Course in great shape. I have 5 stars because this course is the best public course in the area. It is in the best overall condition; Fairways and Greens. Greens are flat; smooth and fast.
A good day
The fare way was cut short and nice around the fare way the grass was brown from the last frost but the greens were very good and fast some of the best I have seen in a while.workers were out on the coarse blowing the leaves off , the guys in the clubhouse were friendly and helpful we will be definitely be back
Cool morning
Greens were nice. Started second group after frost sleet and played through a foursome, wide open nice round with no one in front of us. Nice round on a well maintained public course.
Not crowded on a Sunday afternoon
Greens are in good condition. You have to carry the ball to the green because all the watering settles at the very front of the greens.
Track
The course has been in great condition which is amazing because I know there's a lot of play when you have a good looking course
Could use more yardage markers or prisms on the flags for rangefinders. Fun layout, course was in very good shape for it being the end of summer.
Beaver Creek
I play a lot of different gold courses but, Beaver Creek is on of the most well maintained gold courses of all of them. Fairways and greens right now are in excellent condition. Good layout and course to play. Don't hesitate to book a round there.
Great Shape
Played at 11:00 Thursday, machine that provides range balls was broken but staff was ready and provided whatever you needed. Course was in great shape, greens, traps fairways and rough. Was great experience.
