First of many BREC courses to play
This course in Zachary was fantastic to play. Every hole was a new adventure with plenty of character to go around. Fast, true greens take a little getting used to would recommend using the practice green to get acquainted. The back 9 is slightly more difficult but all in all a fantastic course.
This course is in excellent condition
This course is in excellent condition and is a great value. The hot deal makes it a steal. One of the better courses in the area. A "must play" course!
Consistent
Friendly staff and they keep the place looking good and the grass looking good which in these hot conditions is tough to do I play here often and will continue to keep coming back
Back nine is more difficult than front nine.
The first view of the course from the club house is that this is a wide open links-type course. The front nine has nice wide fairways, but also plenty of large sand traps to catch your balls. The back nine is more woodsy and difficult with two holes with narrow fairways and tricky shots over tall reed plants on swampy ground. Because I was playing the first course for the first time, I would have maybe appreciated a map of the course on the score card.
Friday morning at Beaver Creek
This has to be one of my favorite courses in the Baton Rogue area. A little bit out of way, allows it to be a nice and peaceful golfing trip. Today the greens were punched so the traffic on this course was even better, since it was barely any one there. All in all, it was a great round and I enjoyed my time there.
Great course
This course is amazing! Play often and drive 45 minutes to get there!
Great Course near Batin Rouge
Love the well maintained course. The countryside was beautiful, and the birds singing on this Spring day was special. We will definitely play this course again.
Nice course
Only drawback was the gnats. Pretty bad on the back 9 especially. I would expect this isn't always a problem, just related to the time of year and weather patterns lately.

Best brec greens
Some of the best putting greens of all the brec courses. Well maintained fairways and bunkers. Great rates and not a lot of players makes for a fast round. Many days a single can play in 3 hrs flat.
Beaver Creek
The staff at Beaver Creek have really done a great job with keeping the course up! The practice areas are very close to the same playing conditions. Very nice manicipal course.
Nice course
Course was in very nice shape. Fairways are wide and not much water to lose balls. It was HOT, especially as there are few trees on the course. I don't think I would pay full price, but the golf now prices make it very reasonable. It was am going to pay $38, id rather play at Santa Maria, which is nicer.
Fun course
It's a fun nicely laid out course. Great course for beginners to intermediate players. Have played 2 weeks in a row and going back next week!!
Great Course
Love this course. Overall in very good condition, had a few spots on some greens. Course is challenging, but fair. Highly recommend.
Don't play when wet.
Course was very wet. Carts on path only. Greens were good, fairways especially on the back were soaked. Course needs 10 days of no rain to be enjoyable.
Good Course For The Money
Overall, we thought the course was in decent shape given all of the recent rains in the area. We thought the course layout was going to be different based on the reviews and pictures but we thought that basically matched up with the GolfNow price. Lots of strategic bunkers. Things got a little stacked up with play during the round but it was a Sunday morning plus people were obviously itching to get out and play after the recent rainy weather. The staff was quite friendly.
Nice even after 3" of rain...
Beaver Creek has always been a favorite. It had been a while since I played and it rained a lot the day before so I wasn't sure about course conditions. The back nine was closed because of high water but they let us play the front twice. There was very little standing water even after 3" of rain the day before. The greens were well paced and the fairways still fairly quick. Can't wait to get back up there and play the back nine. Staff was very friendly as usual.
Not too bad.
$45 for a decent course. A tad bit over priced but a very fun course. Driving range could use some help. Grass condition is not that nice.
