Good value on golf now
Played last weekend and course was in great shape....my only complaint was losing golf balls that landed two to three yards off the fairway in the "deep rough"....I realize there should some penalty for missing the fairway but you shouldn't have to look for five minutes and hope you find a ball that landed 3 feet from the fairways...most upscale courses harp on pace of play but then leave deep rough making you search for balls.....can't have it both ways greens keepers and course managers,we aren't all pros with galleries that can spot balls for us.
Very fun to play.
Great coarse for the money. I would definitely recommend this coarse to all levels of golfers.
This course had some great holes
This course was well maintained for a public course. Challenging par 3's Hope to play again when I am in Baton Rouge.
Course is in great shape
This course is in great shape with very few easy holes , almost all the holes have some kind of a dogleg where you have to lay up or shape your shots . Lots of sand traps and bunkers .
Very nice course. Great value!
I love Beaver Creek's layout. It has some challenging holes and it has some forgiving holes. It is very well maintained and truly a great value. The layout is nice. I highly recommend this course.
great BREC course
great course for a muni. challenging but fun, should rename it to bunker creek. its the only BREC course i play.
Challenging course but is pretty fun
Compared to alot of greens lately they were in good shape. Bunker placement was pretty good. Some nice bunkers some hard as a rock. Overall fun course
Good course, okay price
This is usually one of the top conditioned golf courses in the Baton Rouge area, especially considering it is run by BREC. My guess is it has something to do with where it's located and it gets less play than some of the others. Also, it is slightly pricey for a Public course located so far out of town.
One of my favorite courses in the area.
There are many courses in area. I find Beaver Creek to be best value. Fun course, challenging but fair. Just had days of rain and only had 3 holes with cart path only in December.
Beaver Creek is always in tiptop condition. Never had a bad experience.
I'll just start by saying this is my absolute favorite course to play. I play golf atleast twice a week, and I've played a bunch of courses in south LA, but this one has always, consistently been at the top of my list. If you hit good golf shots, you will be rewarded with a great experience, however, you can (and probably will) be penalized for your "not so good ones." I would, and do, recommend this course to my friends and family.
Play is fast
No one plays there. Can finish in under 3 hours easily. Course is in very good shape because of lack of play. Rates are high versus the more famous and frequently played Santa Maria - why?
The course is cool by me
It would be nice if they can put windshields on the carts to block the wind and rain.
Great course
Great course for a Brec inline with local country club courses. young Employee's not too thrilled to be out there . course was well maintained and presented challenges for a newbi golfer.
Nothing special
Course could be better maintained. Looks like the bad economy is effecting the course. Overall not a terrible place though. I would go back again
